Our home invite is Saturday at Performance Elite Gymnastics, and we would love to see lots of people there! Competition starts at 9am, and admission is $5/adult and $3/student. La Crosse's rotations are: vault, bye, bars, beam, bye, floor, bye.

Our varsity team reached its team goal this year of beating the 120 mark at the Viroqua Invite… taking home fourth place with an exciting 121.525!! Freshman Madison Misch placed fourth place on bars with a 8.175 and fifth place in the all-around with a 31.95. Every one of our gymnasts has a lot to be proud of.

First, I have to brag about the seniors… Elisabeth Ammann had a beautiful floor routine and posted her highest varsity beam score this year. Emme Bennett shined in her favorite event, floor, posting an 8.05. Haley Edwards had a clean handspring vault, getting her career high vault score. She also impressed in her floor routine with a beautiful back tuck. Elyssa Marsolek just about tied for her career high bars score and posted a very clean 7.9 vault.

Sophomore Lavender Blumenstein nailed her upgraded beam and bars routines with career highs on both events. Freshmen Samantha Groth broke into the 8s on vault with an 8.15 half on-half off. And finally, Freshman Madison Misch not only placed on bars and all-around, but was also smiling ear to ear with an 8.0 floor routine and and a season high beam routine.

More importantly than the scores, these girls were fantastic teammates. They supported each other, cheered each other on, laughed with each other, and had fun.

Next Saturday the 29th we have our home invite at PEG, and we would love to see everyone there!

La Crosse gymnastics celebrated our four seniors - Emme, Elisabeth, Elyssa, and Haley - last night at our last home conference meet of the season. These four ladies are going to be greatly missed next year, but they are all off to do wonderful things in college. As a coach, I've appreciated their leadership, work ethic, and infectious laughter.

There were many personal bests to be proud of during our parent/senior night meet... almost too many to name! Senior Haley Edwards posted a career high all-around score. Sophomore Lavender Blumenstein had career high scores on both beam and bars. Freshman Madison Misch improved on beam to take home her season high. Freshman Samantha Groth had season highs on both vault and bars. Finally, sophomore Maria England had season high scores on both beam and floor.

I'm proud of every single one of our gymnasts and the progress we've made! Our next meet is Friday, for an invite in Viroqua.

La Crosse Gymnastics opened the competition season with a triangular against Marshfield and Arcadia Tuesday, taking second place with a 118.375 and boasting and impressive mix of career high scores.

Seniors Elyssa Marsolek and Emme Bennet both posted two career high scores each; Emme topped her previous best scores on floor and bars, and Elyssa on bars and floor. Senior Haley Edwards received her career high score on bars. Sophomore Lavender Blumenstein also attained a career high on bars. We had many first time competitors as well who impressed with their first high school meet!!

I am so proud of these ladies and their hard work to start our season!

Anyone else as excited as I am for sweater weather and gymnastics season?! We've got a couple upcoming important dates to start our season. Gymnasts, please make sure you are registered for gymnastics and you have an updated physical on file before season starts.

Wish these hard working ladies luck tomorrow at Sectionals, hosted at PEG!

I'm feeling so, so proud of our team as we have added three (three!!) back tuck passes, a kip, new jumps on beam, a switch kip on bars, cleaned up vaults... all within the last week! These ladies aren't only good gymnasts, but they are kind, hard working, respectful, and intelligent young women. While our season has been short, our list of things to be proud of is not.

The meet starts at 9:30 and we will be live streaming here on Facebook. We start on floor, then have a bye, then vault, bars, and finishing on beam.

These beautiful ladies (inside and out!) are ready to compete tomorrow at our invite after a practice filled with lots of great routines and laughing! We will be live streaming our rotations on here on this page, if you are interested in watching. March in tomorrow is at 9:50, and the first round begins at 10am. We are competing the first four rounds (floor, vault, bars, beam) and we have a bye the fifth rotation. Thank you for your support!!

Hi La Crosse Gymnastics! I wanted to introduce myself - I am the new head coach, and a teacher at Logan High! I am so very excited to be back in La Crosse, and honored to be coaching. While this season will certainly be different than any other, I am looking forward to it, and welcome the opportunity to work with our gymnasts and help them grow as athletes and young women.

Our in-person practices are starting today at PEG, and I plan on continuing to keep up with updates on this page so that we can continue to support our gymnasts as a community.

I'm looking forward to a great season and meeting many of you!
