Our hearts are full with your generosity! Whether you donated or helped spread the word, you contributed to the success of the day. Thanks to 25 generous donors, Rec Sports raised $1,209 during One Day for UWL! These donations help to fund important initiatives such as the Rec Sports Participation Grant and the Mo McAlpine Student Employee Development Scholarship.

Gifts are still being tallied, but the university is nearing 2,000 donors and more than $350,000 raised for UWL students and programs! We are extra proud of our Sport Clubs who raised $19,865 from 405 donors!

We’ve been asked if it is still possible to donate. The answer is yes! Donations to the Rec Sports Development Fund are accepted year-round on the UWL Foundation website: https://www.uwlax.edu/foundation/?fund=151516-769

One Day for UWL is 1 week away! Support Rec Sports on UWL’s annual day of giving: Oct 18-19, 9am-9pm.

We are counting on you to help make our annual day of giving a huge success! If Rec Sports had a positive impact on your personal or career development, or created lifelong friendships or memories, please consider donating during One Day for UWL.

Alexis is a current Outdoor Connection Representative and Trip Leader who received the Rec Sports Mo McAlpine Student Development Scholarship. This gave them the opportunity to acquire their Wilderness First Responder Certification.

One Day for UWL is 3 weeks away!

For 24 hours alumni and friends will come together in support of UWL students and programs.

Lucy is a current Fitness Center Supervisor & a past recipient of the Rec Sports Mo McAlpine Student Development Scholarship. This gave her the opportunity to pursue her goal of completing the NASM Certified Personal Trainer Certification.

Thank you to those who have given back to Rec Sports. Because of you, students are given these opportunities to develop personally and professionally.
