Today we want to recognize and thank one of the cornerstones of our club, Vice President and longtime River Rat, Ty Jenniges.
Ty's rugby journey began at UWL, where he discovered a passion for the game. After graduating, he continued that journey with the River Rats, growing into one of the most dominant and respected players to wear our jersey. For years, opposing teams knew that if Ty was standing across the field, they were in for a long day. His toughness, determination, and relentless work ethic made him a force every time he stepped onto the pitch.
But Ty's impact goes far beyond what happened during the 80 minutes of a match. As a teammate, leader, mentor, and Vice President, he has given countless hours to helping our club grow and succeed. His dedication, experience, and commitment have helped shape the culture of the River Rats and have left a lasting mark on everyone who has had the privilege of playing alongside him.
Ty, thank you for everything you've given to this club. We wish you nothing but success as you begin your next adventure in Colorado. We have no doubt your new teammates will quickly realize they've gained someone truly special.
No matter where life takes you, you'll always have a home here in La Crosse.
