Aquadocs will no longer be running as a full fledged business. I have become more committed to my career in Health Care and I will only be taking on a maximum of 5 clients/familys at a time to personally teach for the summer season. Classes will be offered on Saturday Mornings from June 3rd to October 7th 8 am to 2 pm in the Glendale, La Crescenta , La Canada areas only. Clients must have their own pool. First come first first serve basis. Registration will be open on Saturdays starting May 6th.
$60 half hour lessons.
$100 hour lessons.

This has been a sad time for our community and for the business. Due to the close proximity of our teachers and students when teaching lessons and also taking in mind the dangerous attributed with Covid l, we will continue to stay closed during this pandemic. We miss you and all the positive feedback we have received in the past. Please continue to be safe, practice safe swimming practices, never swim alone, and continue to also practice safe distancing.

THE most popular subject when talking about the history of the valley is the Indian Springs Resort and Swimming Pool. It lay in a small oak-covered canyon to the east of Montrose. The resort had a full range of recreational activities for valley residents - picnicking, kiddie play area, horseback riding, fast food, tennis - but the main attraction was the Olympic-sized swimming pool. From 1928 until 1966, one drove through this Native-American-themed arch (seen here) coming off Verdugo Boulevard, and down into a canyon where one could spend an entire summer's day. (For those not familiar, Indian Springs is now buried under the parking lot of the Indian Springs Shopping Plaza, home to Von's and CVS Pharmacy, just down the hill from Verdugo Hills Hospital.)
For the next few weeks I'll cover this favorite fun spot. I'll use text from my book "Crescenta Valley History: Hidden in Plain Sight" and a selection of photos from the collection of the Historical Society of the Crescenta Valley.
As we move through the history I encourage you to share your own memories of Indian Springs, and to share with others who might remember Crescenta Valley's favorite fun-zone.

One of the pool rules is always obey the lifeguard!!! .... and to not p*e in the pool! 😂

We will never throw your child in the water in a forced attempt to teach them in a set amount of time! Some students learn in a day some need a season. When a second rate swim school guarantees your child will learn in a set amount of time it creates a stressful environment for the student, and the instructor to meet the deadline. Aquadocs understands every child is different and an individual customized approach is ideal.

Having a great year! We haved saved plenty of lives this season alone! Our instructors are doing a great job as well! Very happy with our progress!
