Well, we’ve had 3 buckets of baseballs walk out the door. So starting next week teams will need to bring their own baseballs to their team hitting nights.

Broke down and got a vending machine for the cage. If you want something specific and it sells we can add that to the selections. It is card only and is monitored via cameras.

We are putting g some new rules in place for the cage. Some of these may upset some of you but these are the rules going forward starting today.

1. One parent per hitter. Getting too many people showing up to watch them hit. I realize you want to see them hit but we are getting to many people showing up and its getting crowded.

2. Too many kids running around and I’ve seen some close calls when they get to close to the nets and some parents are not watching them. So no siblings during practice time. If it’s a very young toddler I understand they need to be with the parent.

3. No gum,cleats or candy. I pick up gum and candy off the floor nearly on a daily basis and I’m done with it. Also coaches watch your kids. I know the walls have been picked on and some of the insulation has been picked all the way to the outside walls.

4. Baseball bags. If they only need their bats leave the bags in the car. Bags are laying around everywhere and it ends today. Only exception to this is catchers when they are catching a bullpen.

I know some of this you may not agree with but it is the rule going forward. Thank you.

Winter workouts are still on tomorrow, even if it feels like summer outside.

We will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Merry Christmas we will get after it after Christmas Day, softball and baseball season is right around the corner.

Starting on Saturday December 13th we will start our winter workouts. These will run every Saturday but may add more days of the week depending on how many kids want to do it. 12U and under start hitting at 9am and will hit for an hour. After they are done hitting we will set up a workout for them. This will include pushups, squats, lunges, sprinting and other things. 13U and up will start hitting at 10am. They will then do a workout after they hit. Cost is $25 per kid. Text Kevin to sign up 512-203-8402.
