Kutztown Women's soccer opened PSAC conference play in a thrilling game defeating Sheperd on the road 5-3, Saturday afternoon in a back-and-forth battle between the last two PSAC championship finalist.

After a scoreless first half, the Kutztown and West Virginia State women's soccer teams scored a flurry of goals in the second half, each netting twice in a span of 27 minutes, as the teams finished with a 2-2 draw Sunday afternoon in a non-conference game.

Kutztown scored three goals from three different players to climb out of a quick hole it was dug in and defeated Charleston (W.Va.) 3-1 Friday night in a season-opening, non-conference game at the Welch Athletic Complex.

We are excited to congratulate Maddie Mohr ‘21 on her induction to the Kutztown University Athletics Hall of Fame!

Mohr concluded her career as a three time All-American, three time All-Atlantic Region honoree, three time All-PSAC honoree, and ranks among program leaders in goals and points. She was a member of the 2016 team that reached the NCAA Division II national semifinals for the first time in school history!
