NEWS | MTRACK | Joe Jardine lands on CSC Academic All-America Third Team!

Graduate student pole vaulter, Joe Jardine (Mohrsville, Pa./Schuylkill Valley), of the Kutztown men's track & field team added onto his collection of postseason accolades Wednesday as he was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Third Team.

Congrats to sophomore Tyeshawn Worrell who ran a blazing 6.91 in the 60m, setting a new program record to highlight the Kutztown University men's track & field team on the final day of a two-day invite Saturday at Bucknell University. Worrell topped the previous mark of 6.92, set by Kareef Wallace in 2005, and won the event.

Some great field performances happened as we competed at the Alvernia Winter Invitational, Saturday, led by sophomore Anthony DeFusco, who won the long and triple jumps and set the seventh-best triple jump in team history. The Golden Bears also made an impact on the track thanks to Tyeshawn Worrell’s victory in the 60-meter dash.

On the women’s side, Ally Tama won the pole vault with a NCAA provisional qualifying mark and indoor PR and Gabby Payne was victorious during her debut in the long jump with the third-best jump in program history!

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Jack Hollar (East Stroudsburg, Pa./Pocono Mountain East) and Ryan Smith (North Plainfield, N.J./North Plainfield) finished two spots apart to lead the Kutztown University men's cross country team to a 13th-place finish Saturday at the 2021 NCAA Atlantic Region Championships.

Thank you to our entire KUXCTF community for exceeding our expectations once again!

After surpassing our initial goal, and breaking last year's record, we stretched our goal to match the momentum! This year we were able to raise over $25,000 and we are still finalizing the numbers.
