Please welcome Halie Renteria, our second judge!
Halie Renteria is a fifth-generation Idahoan with a lifelong passion for animals and the agricultural way of life. She works part-time as a mixed-animal veterinary technician in Caldwell while also working alongside her husband to manage their growing cattle herd and the feedlot they call home. When she isn’t working, Halie can often be found horseback, riding one of the many cow horses she and her husband have trained and raised, roping, or tending to her own herd of cattle. She especially enjoys spending time on the ranch with her 11-month-old daughter Mae, who is already following in her footsteps with a love for animals and life on the ranch. Halie is passionate about being an advocate for the beef industry, agriculture, and the Western way of life. She would like to congratulate all of the contestants on a job well done and wishes everyone the very best. She encourages everyone to support their local farmers and ranchers, thank a producer for the food on their table, and, of course, eat more beef!
