Why you should make taking care of your immune system your top priority- forever & always
Here are some things I do/don’t do to take care of my immune system
Do:
Liquid zinc sulfate daily
Micro-c daily
Lemon water upon waking
Celery juice
Fruit smoothies for breakfast
Wash my hands 3,452,777 times a day
Stay hydrated AF
Stay calm and peaceful as much as possible
Cleanse on a regular basis
I don’t:
Drink alcohol
Smoke
Eat/drink after people
Do a lot of hugging/get up in peoples personal space
Touch my face or mouth if I haven’t washed my hands recently
Eat fats before noon
Consume eggs
Consume vinegars of any kind
Minimal dairy and gluten
Get frantic or stressed
This is not an exhaustive by ANY means, but it’s definitely some highlights.
There’s sooooo many more things I do to support my immune system on a regular basis that basically it’s become my life goal and it’s hard to separate the two.
And there are reasons behind each and every thing I do or don’t do. Which I will share in more detail in another post.
We live in a very toxic, inflammatory world.
Our air
Our soil
Our food
Our water
Our ocean
Our clothing
Our electronics
Our medications
Our perfumes/colognes
Literally almost everything (if not everything) is contaminated on this planet that we live on and that we have to try and survive/thrive on.
Regardless of how we have gotten here and what we need to do to fix it, it’s our reality and we have to learn to live with it.
We have never been up against what we are currently up against as a species.
So we can’t keep doing what we have always done in order to rise above this situation we’re in.
We live in a world
FULL of bugs (mostly man-made, if not all) which isn’t going anywhere
That is highly toxic
Where profits are valued over true healing
Where our “medicine” is also toxic
That values band-aid approaches to health
That values work work work and doesn’t allow for us to take enough time to care for ourselves and our families
Etc etc etc
Where everyone is
Chronically dehydrated
Chronically stressed
Chronically exhausted
Chronically overworked
Addicted to caffeine just to simply function
Experiencing at least one but most likely MULTIPLE “mysterious” symptoms on a daily basis (just because it’s common doesn’t mean it’s NORMAL)
Getting sicker and sicker (and younger and younger)
Confused about why they are sick and don’t know how to get better
Etc etc etc
Unfortunately, it takes a lot of effort to get/stay well in the world we live in today.
It’s no longer just as easy as…
Taking some extra vitamin c
Or drinking extra water
Or eating better
Or avoiding fast food
Or washing hands
I mean all of these things are great and helpful but not one of them alone or even together is enough to combat what we have to deal with.
It takes a lot more and lot more *specific* information to understand…
Why we’re sick
How to get unsick
And how to actually get well/heal
So when you’re sick and tired of being sick and tired, just know that there is hope and that you don’t have to keep living like that.
But also know…
You have to be ready to change.
You have to be able to look at things differently.
You have to be open-minded.
You have to be willing to unlearn things you’ve believed your whole life.
You have to be willing to change your habits and it’s not always easy.
However…
When you gain your life/health and energy back
When you are no longer feeling shackled by feeling sick all of the time
When you finally understand how it all works
When you feel strong, empowered, and healthy
It’s all so worth it.
It’s worth it for
Yourself
Your family
Your children
Your loved ones
Your future
Your descendants
Your planet
Your purpose
Everything and everyone
It’s so much more beyond yourself.
And of course we all want to feel good and be healthy and be our best.
But… it’s about so much more.
It’s about healing.
Physically
Emotionally
Mentally
Spiritually
It’s about hope.
It’s about freedom.
It’s about responsibility.
It’s about discipline.
It’s about confidence.
It’s about compassion.
It’s about love.
To love yourself enough
To love other others enough
To love god/universe/creator/the planet enough
To care about the future enough
To love and care enough to wake TF up.
To love and care enough to change.
To love and care enough to be willing to take your health into your own hands.
To love and care enough about the ones who have been sick and gone before us.
May we not follow the same path of pain, confusion, exhaustion, and feeling helpless.
May we have the courage, the discipline, the clarity, and the desire to make different choices.
And not someday.
But now. ❤️
