Alliance Knoxville won all three team trophies at New Breed Gatlinburg.

Adult Team Champions.
Kids Team Champions.
Overall Team Champions.

Our students competed, won matches, got their hands raised, and represented the academy with effort, composure, and teamwork.

We are proud of the results.

But results like this are not random.

They come from the structure of the program, the culture inside the academy, the coaching standards, and the work our students put in every week.

A strong kids program matters.

A strong adult program matters.

A room where students support each other matters.

A clear standard matters.

That is what creates a championship team.

A high standard should never mean a beginner is expected to already know what they're doing.

It means the academy knows how to help them improve without lowering what improvement should eventually look like.

That's an important distinction at Alliance Jiu Jitsu Knoxville.

If you're new, we'll teach you.

If you're struggling, we'll help you.

If something isn't working, we'll correct it and give you another opportunity to improve.

You are allowed to be a beginner.

But as you become more capable, the expectations should rise with you.

That's how a strong training culture develops.

We don't lower the standard to remove the need for growth.

We coach people until they're capable of reaching it.

Then we raise it again.

And over time, something else happens:

The student who once needed everyone else's help becomes the teammate helping the next person improve.

Congratulations to Alliance Jiu Jitsu Knoxville athlete Zeke on an incredible MMA victory this weekend!

After an outstanding training camp, Zeke earned a dominant finish one minute into the second round with a composed and impressive performance.

While Zeke was the one inside the cage, this victory reflects the effort of an entire team.

A special thank you to Kris Bowers and Lukasz for the coaching, preparation, and countless hours they invested throughout his fight camp. Your leadership played a huge role in helping Zeke perform at his best.

We're also grateful for every teammate who stayed after class, pushed the pace, and helped prepare him along the way. That willingness to invest in one another is one of the things that makes Alliance Jiu Jitsu Knoxville so special.

Most of all, congratulations to Zeke.

You represented our academy with professionalism, humility, and determination, and we're proud to have been part of this accomplishment.

Five Alliance Jiu Jitsu Knoxville athletes challenged themselves on one of the toughest stages in youth Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Wesley, Deklyn, Bria, Rilyn, and Noah represented our academy at the 2026 IBJJF Kids Pan American Championships in Kissimmee, Florida.

Kids Pans is the most prestigious and difficult youth Jiu Jitsu tournament in the world. Its divisions include highly skilled young athletes from across the United States and around the world.

Competing confidently at this level requires months of preparation, courage, discipline, and commitment.

Bria earned a bronze medal and finished third in her division.

She competed with poise, determination, technical ability, and composure under pressure.

Rilyn also earned a bronze medal and finished third in her division.

This was her first Kids Gi Pan medal, making the accomplishment even more meaningful.

Both athletes earned podium finishes against a world-class field. We are incredibly proud of them.

We are also proud of Wesley, Deklyn, and Noah.

All five athletes trained hard throughout the summer and made significant improvements while preparing for the tournament.

They stepped onto the competition mat with confidence, fought hard, and attempted to apply the Jiu Jitsu they had trained.

Most importantly, they were willing to challenge themselves against some of the strongest young athletes in their respective divisions.

One tournament result cannot tell the complete story of an athlete’s development.

The skill, experience, resilience, and confidence created through months of preparation remain with the athlete long after tournament day.

We also want to recognize the teammates who helped prepare this group.

They provided difficult rounds, different reactions, resistance, accountability, and encouragement throughout training camp.

The five athletes competed, but the entire room contributed to their preparation.

Thank you to every teammate, coach, parent, and family member who supported Wesley, Deklyn, Bria, Rilyn, and Noah throughout this process.

Please help us congratulate all five athletes for representing Alliance Jiu Jitsu Knoxville and East Tennessee with courage, dedication, and pride.

The goal may be different.

The difficult part is not.

The destination shown in this graphic is a world championship. That may be one student’s goal. Another student may be working toward a belt, a competition, improved fitness, better decision-making under pressure, or simply becoming more capable.

Whatever the goal is, progress will eventually become difficult.

Students will struggle to understand.

They will fail while trying to apply what they learned.

They will become discouraged.

They will reach problems that cannot be solved by pretending the road should be easier.

At Alliance Jiu Jitsu Knoxville, we want students to learn what to do next.

Keep showing up.

Ask for help.

Listen to the feedback.

Change the approach.

Try again.

Dedication does not mean blindly repeating the same answer. It means remaining committed while you search for a better one.

The destination may change from student to student.

The requirement does not:

Keep learning. Keep solving. Do not quit.

Rilyn competed with outstanding skill, composure, determination, and heart.

She fought hard through every match and represented Alliance Jiu Jitsu Knoxville with excellence both on and off the mats.

We are proud of the bronze medal.

It is built through consistent training, attention to detail, resilience, and the willingness to keep working through difficult moments.

Today, Bria stood on the biggest stage in youth Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and brought home a bronze medal at the IBJJF Kids Pan Championship.

The IBJJF Kids Pan Championship brings together the best young competitors from around the world. Reaching the podium at an event of this caliber is an incredible accomplishment.

While we’re proud of the medal, we’re even more proud of what it represents.

Success at this level isn’t built in a single match. It’s built through consistent training, learning from setbacks, trusting the process, and having the courage to compete against the very best.

Congratulations, Bria, on an outstanding performance. You represented Alliance Jiu Jitsu Knoxville with composure, determination, and heart. Today was a tremendous achievement, and we know this is only the beginning.
