We are a “Members Only” establishment that focuses solely on the advancement of the Art within our Student body. We welcome anyone that has a sincere interest in learning the Filipino Martial Arts and the history and traditions of Inayan

Eskrima to apply for Membership. We are interested in growing the Student body with those that understand the commitment the Art demands and are interested in bettering themselves along a deep and meaningful path. We are proud to be the world’s longest-running Inayan Eskrima institution.

Tagaturo Steven Klement, a renowned authority on the Art of Inayan Eskrima, founded the ISE in Knoxville on July 1st, 1995. His mission was to preserve and disseminate Inayan Eskrima as taught to him by the System’s Founder, Mangisursuro Michael G. Inay.

From the outset of his training, Mr. Klement was determined to introduce Inayan Eskrima to the Southeast. A year after achieving the rank of G**o, the Inayan School of Eskrima opened its doors in Knoxville, Tennessee. Since then, hundreds of students have had the opportunity to experience the Art and philosophies of Inayan Eskrima.

31 years later, we are now proudly located inside the Knoxville Martial Arts Academy and ready to meet you!
