This is a very modular pack. The lid, stays, foam sheet, and lid straps are all removable. The beaver tail provides additional storage for bulky gear. Two parallel daisy chains allow for additional pockets or items to be added. Lashing points on the lid and side panels. 1/2 inch webbing running across side panel allows for the awesome power of carrying your tenkara or fly rod safely and securely to your ninja secret fishing hole. The beaver tail allows for excellent compression when loads are light. The pack has a contoured bottom. There is a lid pocket as well as a pocket on the inside of the beaver tail.

Here's an awesome little pack that is designed after "The Bub" with just a few adjustments. This is a framed (removable) climbing pack with beaver tail and lid (soon to come). Beaver tail provides a convenient external area to stick shoes or an extra rope. Inside of beaver tail has an ultra secret pocket for stashing valuables like keys and wallets - don't worry about spilling your keys out of your pack lid, and leaving them at the crag, only realizing it after arriving at your car after an hour long approach through a 105 degree uphill steam room. Load transfer to the hip belt will make you forget that you have a full days worth of gear and equipment on your back. Pack body is TX07. Back panel, lid, and beaver tail are a 210 denier PU laminated ripstop from Lamcotec. Pack bottom is the DX40, and it will last forever. All fabric is waterproof. 25 oz. ~ 30 Liters
