Mission Statement: Next Level Basketball's mission is to provide a place where boys and girls ages 7-18 can come and learn the game of basketball. This is achieved through professional instruction and positive teaching of the fundamentals of basketball. Next Level Ball Handling Academy 2nd Grade - High School Aged Boys & Girls! Ball Handling Skills:
Learn over 200 ball-handling drills that will make you an excellent ball handler versus any type of defensive pressure. You will learn stationary, straight line moves, change of direction moves, two ball dribbling series, as well as the fundamentals of the game will be taught through detailed training and innovative drills. Coaches Missey & Travis Mains are passionate and enthusiastic about the game of basketball, creating an environment for the player to succeed and not to be afraid of making a mistake. Coach Mains' strive to teach life-long lessons through the game of basketball such as: how to set and achieve goals, handling success and failures and understanding your strengths and weaknesses to make you better. Next Level Basketball
Shooting Academy
Starting April 19, 2012!!! Next Level Shooting Academy 2nd Grade - High School Aged Boys & Girls! Two levels of training are now offered:
Fundamental Shooting Academy: for the player still fairly new to the game, a heavy dose of fundamentals (i.e. instruction, demonstration, correction, and repetition). The goal is to have each player clearly understand proper shooting form and begin to shape a tex book perfect shot. Advanced Shooting Academy: for the player who has solid experience and needs higher level training - a heavy dose of higher level is taught (i.e. shooting off the dribble, creating space for your shot, developing a jump shot, step back shot, getting your shot off quickly...). Please don't enroll your child in this program unless they truly have proven experience. Coach Mains' are passionate and enthusiastic about the game of basketball, creating an environment for the player to succeed and not to be afraid of making a mistake. Where: Daniel Boone High School
