A year ago, I couldn’t do a single chaturanga. Not one.
Between a frozen shoulder, surgery, and fatigue, my practice looked nothing like it used to. And honestly? There were days I wondered if it ever would again.
Today, I pressed back into chaturanga.
Slow. Shaky. Fully present.
Yoga has always been more than the shapes we make—but this moment felt like something worth honoring. Not because the pose defines the practice, but because of everything it took to meet myself here again.
Healing isn’t linear. Strength doesn’t always look how we expect. But every time I return to my mat, I’m reminded: resilience lives in the body, even when it’s been through so much.
If you’re in a season of rebuilding, I see you. Keep going. 💛
