SENIOR SPOTLIGHT : Aiden Cannon aiden joined the this year transferring from DCHS to Boone - he is already a great contributor to our boys team.

•Aiden participated in his first race at 3 years old.
•He played 4 sports his 8th grade year.
•His freshman year, he spent 2 grueling days competing in his first decathlon (crazy cool experience)!
•He squatted 415 lbs as a 148 lb freshman, and benched 255 while running a 17.36 5K.
•In 2025, Aiden was recognized in the Tennessee All-State XC Honors.

We wish him the best of luck for his final XC and Track season

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT ~ Ava Nutter

Cross Country
• Freshman Year: Science Hill; Earned All-Conference honors, finished as a Top 10 runner at the sectional meet, and qualified for the state championship.
• Sophomore Year: Ran a personal best of 18:53.9 for 5K, won every regular-season JV race she competed in.
• Junior Year: Earned All-Conference honors, qualified for the state meet, the girls team finished 15th.

Cannot wait to see what else you can accomplish your senior XC season!
