You may remember Bailey Hasty who raised money last year for our Veterans Food Pantry. She is an amazing young lady here in Blount County and is currently in her Junior Class at Maryville High School! This year she hopes to raise money for Smoky Mountain Service Dogs
Bailey’s father, Mark Hasty, is a USMC Veteran and a Firefighter with the Maryville Fire Department! He served in Iraq in 2005 with Delta Company, 4th Combat Engineer Battalion in Knoxville. Thank you, Mark, for your service in the USMC and now as a Firefighter!
Here is information from Bailey Hasty….
This year I have the opportunity to represent the MHS Junior Class in this year’s homecoming court. Each representative is asked to raise funds for their selected nonprofit. I am thrilled to announce that I am supporting the Smoky Mountain Service Dogs!!! My goal is to provide a local, wounded Veteran with a mobility assistance dog. Please consider giving to this organization. I am very excited to make a big impact in a Veteran’s life in hopes to enhance their day to day activities.
