The occult knows when something enters their territory.

Think about that for a moment. A coven. A Masonic lodge. A group doing rituals on an ancient landmark. They are spiritually alert — trained, practiced, attentive to what moves in the spiritual atmosphere around them.

And the Western church goes to Sunday service and gets an inspirational message.

That is the discipleship gap. And it is costing us territory.

Sleeping in a van in Paraguay — six hours into a drive into an unfamiliar region — and suddenly, wide awake. Where are we?

We had just crossed into a town named after the founder of the Jesuit movement. Defiled territory. The spiritual climate shift was so distinct it woke someone up out of sleep.

Most believers would have just kept driving.

That discomfort is not an alarm to avoid. It is discernment functioning correctly — and discernment is always an invitation to go deeper. Not just this feels off. But — God, what is off here? What is at the center of this? What is releasing this over this particular area?

You start to investigate. And you discover a coven, a Masonic structure, a ritual site on an ancient landmark — something that is generating the spiritual climate you just drove through.

And if you want to see that area shift — you have to address what is producing the darkness.

We dealt with Lilith in our town. But it was not a dramatic public decree on Day One. It was five years of ground-level warfare — casting demons out of people, building spiritual intelligence, developing authority through faithfulness in the smaller things.

And then — when the time came — the decree was issued. And there was a massive breakthrough.

Territorial deliverance is not an event. It is the result of years of disciplined, systematic, ground-level faithfulness.

Build the spiritual muscle first. The territorial command will come in its proper time.

Methodology doesn't deliver people. Jesus does.

That needs to be said clearly before anything else — because some people hear the words protocol and systematic and immediately assume the approach has replaced the Person.

It hasn't. And It never will.

But methodology helps us understand what we are doing well enough to become thorough. And thorough ministry produces lasting results where improvised ministry produces temporary relief.

We teach a 15-step deliverance process regularly. People hear that and think it sounds crazy. But the purpose is not to create a rigid religious formula. The purpose is to ensure that nothing gets missed — that every legal right is addressed, every door is closed, and the person walks out carrying genuine and lasting freedom rather than feeling better for two weeks and returning to the same bo***ge.

Here is the broader vision that drives the methodology:

Every session is not just about the person in the room. It is about everyone that person will eventually disciple and release. Mentoring those who are watching. Equipping people who are not yet in the room. Building something that multiplies beyond the session itself.

Because here is what happens without that long view:

You lay hands on someone. They get free. They get excited. They start ministering to others. And by the time that ministry has passed through two or three generations of equipping without proper training — four generations later, they're smacking someone on the head with a Bible.

That is why we stay stripped the process down to the basics. Not because the basics are all that exist — but because people will always go a little further than what they were taught. So teach the clean, simple, thoroughly biblical foundation — and let the Spirit build from there.

Systems serve the Spirit. The Spirit does not serve the system.

Build the framework. Stay led. And watch what gets multiplied.

This revelation completely changed how I understand religious deception.

When I heard that some exorcist say you can't do deliverance without Mary, every alarm bell in my spirit went off. I immediately thought of Mark 3:24 - "If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand."

The more I've studied this, the more I realize we're not just dealing with doctrinal differences - we're dealing with spiritual deception at the highest levels. When people invoke anyone other than Jesus for spiritual authority, they're opening doors to the very spirits they think they're casting out.

This is why proper biblical training matters so much. Without discernment, even well-meaning people can end up in deeper bo***ge while thinking they're getting free.

The phone rang. A woman had been messaging our church page.

One of our pastors was going back and forth with her in the comments. Something was immediately obvious — this was demonic. You could see it clearly. I responded and told her to call me.

Driving to Knoxville. Daughter in the car. The phone connects.

And the first words spoken were not from the woman.

"She belongs to me. And you cannot have her."

My daughter's eyes went wide. The demon was coming through the car speakers.

I got it bound and told the woman — come to service tonight. Come a couple hours early. We're going to minister to you.
She pulled into the parking lot looking like a full-blown witch. And the moment the door opened to welcome her — she fully manifested.

We took her into a room and fought with that spirit for a long time.

What we discovered: she was conceived in ritual. Born in ritual. Baptized in blood. Deep SRA. A victim first — and then, became someone who carried out things for others within the family structure.

And she had not come for help.

A year into the process, she confessed — she had originally come to put death curses on us. She gave us the dagger she had used in a blood sacrifice to Baal. The whole thing was a witchcraft assignment against the ministry.

But somewhere in the middle of fighting for her freedom — something shifted.

She began to believe she could actually get free.

And she started changing sides.

We later baptized her. And that case took us to levels of understanding in deliverance and spiritual warfare that we had never encountered before.

There are good, healthy soul bonds.
That's what marriage covenant is. That's what walking together in Christ is.

Soul bonds aren't inherently bad. They're how we connect. How we relate. How we do life together.

But they never surpass your will.

That is the key difference between healthy and unhealthy soul bonds.

Healthy soul bonds are supportive. Encouraging. Life-giving. They invite you into relationship but never control you.

You always retain your right to choose. Your freedom. Your agency.

Unhealthy soul bonds? They control. Manipulate. Demand. They make you feel like you can't leave, can't say no, can't make your own decisions.

That's when a soul bond becomes bo***ge.

This applies to marriages, friendships, ministry relationships, leadership connections—all of it.

If you feel like you can't leave a relationship, that's a red flag.

If someone operates in control and manipulation instead of invitation, that's unhealthy.

If your will is being overridden, that's bo***ge.

Healthy relationships always preserve your freedom to choose.

Not all spiritual practices are created equal.

Just because something seems harmless, produces results, or feels spiritual doesn't mean it's from God. The source of spiritual authority matters more than the perceived benefits.

Operating outside biblical covenant is presumption, no matter how it's packaged.

Your calling is too important to contaminate with unauthorized practices.

God doesn't just call people to preach. Sometimes, He calls them to a specific war.

After years of international missions — over 600 churches planted in Haiti, thousands in India, a movement at full momentum — the Lord spoke something that completely redirected everything.

Release the international work. Come back to East Tennessee. Plant an apostolic hub. And in 10 years, I will give you more fruit in the nations than if you remained on the mission field.
That was shocking. We thought we would be in Haiti forever. We had given everything to that assignment.

But we obeyed. We came back. Started small — five families meeting together in intercession. Nothing impressive by any external measure.

And then on a Saturday morning — alone at The Well in prayer — the Spirit of God spoke again.

Not a gentle nudge. A heavy word. The kind that lands in your chest and does not leave.

I am giving you — The Well — a mandate of intercession for the full eradication of witchcraft and occult powers out of this region.

Full eradication.

Not management. Not containment. Not peaceful coexistence with the darkness operating in the territory.

Eradication.

That word changes everything about how you pray, how you position, how you approach a region. It is not a word of wishful thinking. It is a commissioned assignment from the Lord of Hosts — one that requires years of building, of ground-level warfare, of faithful intercession before the decree is ever issued publicly.

The elders confirmed it. And from that moment — the entire ministry was reoriented around that mandate.

This is why we fight. This is the assignment. This is the word that has not changed.

One prayer encounter changed 700+ lives forever.

In a season of intercession—a question rose up.

I was in a season where I felt called to deliverance ministry but was frustrated with inconsistent results.

People would get free for a week, then return to the same bo***ge.

"Lord, what do you want to do in deliverance?"

During a time of seeking God outside with my journal, I asked: "Lord, what do you want to do through my life in spiritual warfare?"

He gave a strategy for breaking bloodline strongholds.

He downloaded a strategy I'd never heard before—targeting bloodline strongholds and generational curses at their root instead of just dealing with symptoms.

Training launched. Warriors equipped. Hundreds set free.

I launched training to equip other warriors with this framework. We invested everything—developing and implementing this strategy.

The results? Over 700 people permanently set free from generational bo***ge.

Not temporary relief. Permanent freedom.

Create space—God might give you a breakthrough strategy too.

But here's what I learned: God doesn't download strategies to people who are too busy to listen.

You have to create space. You have to get alone with God. You have to ask the hard questions.

Two in the morning. Deep in intercession. And God opened the spiritual realm.

Twenty-six years ago — before I even knew what intercession was — I found myself overwhelmed by the Spirit, crying out for the people, the destinies, and the family lines of the region God had called me to.

I didn't know that was unusual. I just knew I couldn't stop.

And then God showed me something that changed everything.

Nine priest-looking figures. Black robes. Standing in a circle — simultaneously in the river and around my bedroom.

God let them see me. And He let me see them.

It was fearful. It was real. And it wasn't an invitation to run.

It was an invitation to go deeper.

That encounter drove me further into intercession — specifically against the occult, against the deception operating over that region. And right after that moment — the first deliverances began to happen in the territory.

Were they human agents? Astral projected into my room? That's exactly what I believe.

Because the warfare was that real. And the assignment was that serious.

This is what it looks like when God calls you to a region. Not a comfortable assignment. Not a safe ministry model.

A confrontation with what's actually holding that territory — and the authority to do something about it.

The occult doesn't ignore intercessors who are actually threatening their ground. The fact that they showed up was confirmation that the prayers were landing.
