WHY BCA Foundation ⁉️
BC Athletics Foundation’s vision is to provide quality and equitable opportunities for student athletes from all sociodemographic strata, especially those underserved and disadvantaged to provide faith-based, athletic training and other educational opportunities that benefit the body, mind and soul. The nonprofit entity will raise scholarship funds for student athletes to participate in the collegiate baseball training program at the current indoor BC Athletics facility, operational for 10 years. Scholarship will pay for need-based athletes who apply to the program and need funding for the fees. One of the goals is to reduce the barriers and limitations to increase college athletes’ success rates for securing baseball scholarships through redirected efforts on and off the field. The foundation will address a crucial need by closing this student-athlete achievement gaps and increasing the success rates. BCA develops athletes through individual instruction, team competition, and faith-based character building, and they prepare future leaders equipped to make community impact in their homes, teams, schools, churches, and communities.
