Pluto Sports will be closed on Easter Sunday, April 5th so we can spend some time with friends and family. Next week we will be open all seven days from 12-6pm, and we always have the best skateboards, snowboards, and disc golf gear available anywhere. Snowboarding in The South is still going on today!!! Sugar Mountain in Banner Elk, North Carolina still has their high speed chairlift open to the top of the mountain! UNBELIEVABLE?!?! Click on the link for the we**ams and check out "Base" to see people getting on the lift on Tuesday, March 24th 2026, and click on "Summit" to see people getting off at the top. Sugar Mountain Resort in Banner Elk, North Carolina has FOUR CHAIRLIFTS OPEN TODAY - Friday, March 20th and the first day of spring!!! WOW! It is completely unbelievable, so please check out the we**ams here, click on "Base" and then click on "Summit": https://skisugar.com/cams/ This isn't AI, these are live we**ams showing people cruising the slopes right now! Most of the other resorts in the area are closed, but Sugar just keeps going!

Sugar Mountain in Banner Elk, North Carolina is still open to the top! Their high speed six seat chairlift has a padded seat and backrest, and it even has a footrest! Check out their we**ams to see what the slopes look like in real time - https://skisugar.com/cams/ then click on "Base" to see the snow and that there is NO LIFT LINE, and then click on "Summit" to see the people getting off the chairlift and what it looks like at the top!

Snowboarding in The South isn't over just yet!!! Sugar Mountain in Banner Elk North Carolina is still open! eech Mountain Ski Resort in North Carolina is having their end of season bash TODAY! Pond skimming is going on from 2-4pm, and there is even an after party too! For more info check out: https://www.beechmountainresort.com/event/beech-mountain-closing-day-celebration/

Sugar Mountain should be open another week or two, maybe longer! They were able to crank up the snow guns recently, the runs are covered and the lifts are running! Don't believe it? Check out the we**ams, no crowds, and snow on the slopes!!!

Closing day at Beech Mountain Resort is Saturday, March 14th. Join us for a day of celebration including a pond skim, après ski party at 5506', and a staff and passholder appreciation party at the Lodge.
