There will also be a local wrestling clinic held on July 11th at skate palace in Galesburg, Illinois. One day-two sessions and the cost is twenty dollars at the door. Information for the clinic is in the photos.

Wrestling family,
Summer is nearly here and we’re going to start getting back on the mat to prepare for the Midwest Nationals on the 27th of June. Preregistration is $60 and registration on site is $70. Attached to this post will be a PDF that you can fill out and email to Mike Manahan @ [email protected]. They only accept checks or money orders payable to Midwest Nationals. We will have open mats 5pm-6pm June 16th, 18th, 23rd, & 25th. All competitors will be in the grade that they just passed since the new school year has yet to begin. 8th grade and below weigh in at 7am-745am on the 27th & 9th and above weigh in at 10-1045am on the 27th. Wrestling for 8th grade and below starts at 9am and 9th grade and above begin wrestling at noon. Wrestling will take place at the Illinois Wesleyan Shirk Center. I have reserved both buses for the kids but I need an idea of who will be competing that way I can determine who all is going and what grade levels. Purler camp goers/parents,

We did find some entertainment for the kids on the first day since we will have some downtime on the 4th. We plan on taking the kids to the Robinson City Park which has pool for the kids; a day pass of only $4. Also, we will visit the Heath Candy Bar Museum which is free with the exception of goods they wish to purchase. We will be leaving from the High School at 430pm however if everyone is ready beforehand we can leave earlier. I will be there . Purler camp goers,

The location in which we will be staying is 8435 South Old US hwy 41 Carlisle, IN 47838 ( Carlisle Inn). They do have mini fridges in the rooms. The contact information for the location is 812-731-4062. We will be at the camp from 6pm-845pm on the 4th as well as 930am-4pm on the 5th and 6th. Thereafter, we will be heading straight back home and be arriving roughly around 830-9pm. Since we are getting down there a day early we will have a little adventure planned for the kids to hike and swim before the first day of the camp. Please bring swim wear and a towel. Wrestling camp is right around the corner. We will leave on the 3rd in the late afternoon. That I know of we have 6 kids going…….Bryan, Zander, Dakota, Jameson, Declan, and Addisyn. Is there anyone else that has registered for the purler camp at Robinson HS June 4th-6th?

I’m working on the spreadsheet for fair parking. We need as much help as possible July 9th 10th and 11th. Every wrestler should be there to help each day! Please contact Mike Leab with any wrestler that cannot attend and also with any parent volunteers.
