We had our first night tournament on Fort Loudoun/Tellico on June 2nd, it was a bright night under the full moon with a lot of fish reportedly caught but size was kind of hard to come by. We had a good turnout with 10 boats fishing.
1st Place was Van Lam & Nick Saah with 6 fish that weighed 12 lbs 2 oz.
2nd Place was Preston & Scott Craig with 6 fish that weighed 9 lbs 2 oz.
Lunker was a 4 lb 13 oz largemouth caught by Nick Saah.
Our next tournament will be another night tournament, this time on July 7th on Melton Hill, hope to see everyone there!

We fished our May tournament on Cherokee on 5/13 & it was pretty tough, there was a shad spawn in the morning but it was hard to find them after the sun came out.
1st place was Preston & Scott Craig with a 6 fish limit that weighed 12lbs 11oz.
2nd Place was Brad & Dana Mattie with 5 fish that weighed 10lbs 7.5oz.
3rd Place was Lake Lowery & Woody Martin with 4 fish that weighed 9lbs 7.5oz & they also had the lunker caught by Lake that weighed 3lbs 8oz.

Next up was this year's Classic on Chickamauga, a two day tournament. The first three days of practice was very windy 7 cool but the wind let after that & it was very hot on the second tournament day.
1st Place was Preston & Scott Craig with 10 fish that weighed 28lbs 9.5ozs , good for $750
2nd Place was Van Lam & Dale Olumstad with 8 fish that weighed 18lbs 8oz, good for $450
3rd Place was Don & Adam Evans with 4 fish that weighed 9lbs 9.5oz, good for $300
4th Place was John Lindsay & Steven Hatch with 1 fish that weighed 7lbs, good for $200
5th Place was Mike Oglesby & Rick Smith with 3 fish that weighed 6lbs, good for $150
6th Place was Woody Martin & Brad Cox with 2 fish that weighed 4lbs 7oz, good for $110
1st day lunker was Preston Craig with a 4lb 14oz Largemouth, good for $120
2nd day lunker was John Lindsay with a 7lb Largemouth, good for $120

Our 3rd tournament was April 29th on Douglas. Everyone weighed in limits in this one.
1st Place was Lake Lowery & Woody Martin with 16lbs 10.5oz.
2nd Place was Rick Smith & Mike Oglesby with 14lbs 8.5oz.
Lunker was Lake Lowery with a 5lb 1.5oz Largemouth.

Our 2nd Tournament was on April 8th on Norris. 8 out of 11 teams weighed fish in this tournament.
1st Place was Rick Smith & Mike Oglesby with 6 fish that weighed 14lbs 6.5oz.
2nd Place was Preston & Scott Craig with 6 fish that weighed 13lbs 3oz.
Lunker was Rick Smith with a 3lb 3oz Smallmouth

Our first tournament of the year was on Watts Bar on March 18th. It was a tough windy day with not a lot of fish weighed in.
1st Place was Rick Smith & Mike Oglesby with 3 fish that weighed 6lbs 10oz.
2nd Place was Zach Sharp & Chris Blankenship with 1 smallmouth that also took lunker and weighed 4lbs 15oz.

Sorry that I haven't posted since the night tournaments, we've been absolutely hammered at work, thank God the 6 month grind is over!!

10/8/2022 Fort Loudoun/Tellico
1st Place: Rick Smith & Mike Oglesby 8lbs. 8ozs.
2nd Place: Preston & Scott Craig 5lbs. 11ozs.
Lunker: Preston Craig 3lb. 2oz. Largemouth

11/12/2022 Douglas
1st Place: Preston & Scott Craig 14lbs. 8ozs.
2nd Place: Mike Oglesby & Rick Smith 12lbs. 5ozs.
Lunker: Mike Oglesby 4lb. 10.5 oz. Smallmouth

11/26/2022 Norris
1st Place: Preston & Scott Craig 11lbs. 0ozs.
2nd Place: Woody Martin & Lowery 10lbs 1.5ozs.
Lunker: Woody Martin 3lb. 0.5oz. Smallmouth

12/3/2022 Cherokee
1st Place: Mike Oglesby & Rick Smith 11lbs. 1.5ozs.
2nd Place: Van Lam & Dale Olumstad 8lbs, 7.5ozs.
Lunker: Dale Olumstad 3lb. 0oz. Smallmouth

Our second and final night tournament was held on Melton Hill on June 24th. We had 6 boats participate in this one on a pretty tough night, the smallmouth size limit definitely hurts on this lake. 1st Place was caught by Mike Oglesby & Rick Smith with 5 largemouth that weighed 8lbs 8 1/2 oz. 2nd Place was caught by Van Lam & Dale Olumstad with 5 largemouth that weighed 7lbs 10oz. The lunker was a 2lb 12oz largemouth caught by Mike Oglesby.

We had our first of two night tournaments on Douglas on June 10th. We had 7 boats fish this one. 1st Place was claimed by Woody Martin & Robert Sutton with a 6 fish limit that weighed 10lbs 8oz. 2nd Place aws Rick Smith & Mike Oglesby with a 6 fish limit that weighed 9lbs 12oz. The lunker was a 2lb 10oz largemouth caught by Jeff Hamby. It was a good tournament as everyone caught fish but the size was just average.

We got back into our 2022 schedule with a May 5th Tournament on Ft. Loudoun/Tellico. We had 10 boats participate in this one & there were a lot of small fish caught but some teams did pretty well too. 1st Place went to Van Lam & Dale Olumstad with a 6 fish limit that weighed 14lbs 10 1/2ozs. 2nd Place was Scott & Preston Craig with a limit that weighed 12lbs 11 1/2ozs. The lunker weighed 3lbs 12oz & was caught by Adam Evans.
