It all started in 1933...FDR signed into law the New Deal which included the formation of the Tennessee Valley Authority...

It all started in 1933...

FDR signed into law the New Deal which included the formation of the Tennessee Valley Authority. TVA created dams and reservoirs to build back the American infrastructure post Great Depression thus providing jobs, energy, and flood control to our region.

Today, our members are afforded boundless opportunities to enjoy East Tennessee's waterways while revering America's work ethic.
