Hey ! Celebrate the autumn season with festive fun for the whole family at our Fall on First Avenue event! It happens Saturday, October 3rd, from 11am-3pm at Knightdale Station Park. Enjoy pumpkin painting, hayrides, and live music by North Tower! Browse unique finds at the craft fair, savor delicious bites from local food trucks, and pick up beautiful mums from the Two Green Thumbs Garden Club. We can't wait to see you there!

Q: What is a Silent Disco?
A: A Silent Disco is a dance party where everyone wears headphones which have 3 music channels and individual volume controls. Guests can pick the song they like best, adjust the volume to their preference, and have a good time.

Q: What age group is this event geared towards?
A: This is an all-aged, all-ability, family-friendly event!

Q: Is registration required?
A: Yes, registration is required for all participants. You can register at https://knightdale.recdesk.com/Community/Program/Detail?programId=465

Q: Is there a fee?
A: Children 2 and under are free, a resident (within town limits) fee of $15, and a non-resident fee of $30

Q: What is the theme?
A: The theme of our Silent Disco is “western glow party!”

Q: Will there be different choices of music on the headphones?
A: Yes, you can choose from 3 different stations!

Q: Will there be food?
A: Yes! Dinner, drinks, and dessert will all be provided.

Q: What is included in this event?
A: Our silent disco will consist of the following:
- A photobooth with props (take home a photo strip souvenir)
- An indoor selfie station
- Yard games for all ages (co****le, ladder toss, giant connect 4)
- A catered dinner
- And a dance floor to show off your moves!

Q: Is there a dress code?
A: There is no formal dress code, but cowboy hats, bolo ties, and boots are strongly encouraged!

As summer begins to wind down, so do the Knightdale Community Pool and Splash Pad seasons.

The final day of operation for the Knightdale Community Pool will be Monday, September 7.

The final day of operation for the Splash Pad at Knightdale Station Park will be Sunday, September 13.

Thank you for spending part of your summer with us. We hope you've enjoyed making memories, staying active, and cooling off at these great community amenities. We look forward to seeing you again next season!

The Town of Knightdale is partnering with Oak City Music Collective to bring Salsa at the Park to Knightdale Station Park.

Join us each second Friday from July through October for live salsa music, dancing, and a free lesson from 6:00–6:30 p.m., followed by performances through 8:30 p.m.

📣Learn More About Knightdale's 2026 Parks and Recreation Bond Referendum📣

On November 3, 2026, Knightdale residents will have a chance to vote on the Knightdale Parks and Recreation Bond Referendum. This bond would fund a world-class recreation complex with multiple gymnasiums, fitness studios, and multi-generational programming spaces that will impact all Knightdale residents. We encourage everyone to learn more about what’s proposed and make their voices heard.

The Town of Knightdale is committed to providing residents with clear and factual information so you can make an informed decision.

There are several ways you can get more information about the Parks and Recreation Bond Referendum. Hey ! We want to send congratulations to our Arts & Education Fest Art Contest Winners – Jack Moore and Denna Tucker! These creative visionaries won first place in their respective age groups after judges were wowed by their interpretations of America 250 in sneaker form. Jack and Denna were recognized at the August Town Council meeting and led us in the Pledge of Allegiance. Let’s hear it for these young artists!
