Southern Oregon Premier is excited to announce Summer Baseball Tryouts for incoming freshmen, current freshmen, and sophomores!

If you're looking to compete, develop your skills, and play games throughout Southern Oregon this summer, we want to see you on the field.

"Building skills, confidence, and a love for the game—one player at a time." ⚾

In collaboration with Steen Sports Park, The Sky Lakes Foundation, KU Baseball, and Klamath Basin Sports, we are excited to offer a FREE Youth Baseball Camp for Klamath Falls City School students entering 5th through 8th grades.

Camp Dates: June 22–26

Time: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM Daily

Location: Steen Sports Park

This fun and engaging camp is designed to help young athletes develop their baseball skills while learning from the experienced coaches and players of KU Baseball. Campers will receive instruction in hitting, pitching, fielding, base running, and overall player development in a positive and supportive environment.

No baseball equipment? No problem! We want every child to have the opportunity to participate. If your athlete does not have the necessary gear, we will help make sure they have what they need to take part in camp.

All registered campers will receive a Pelican Baseball t-shirt and hat.

Gashouse Nation and Lady Falcons are teaming up this summer to bring some awesome softball camps to the Basin!

Our first camp will take place June 24th & 25th and we can’t wait to get out on the field with all these athletes. This is going to be an amazing opportunity for players to learn, compete, and grow their skills with two great programs working together! 🩵🧡

⚾ Thank You for a Great First Day of the Harold Howard Memorial Tournament! ⚾

We would like to thank all of the teams, players, families, volunteers, and fans for an amazing first day of baseball at Steen Sports Park. The energy and sportsmanship throughout the park made for a fantastic day of competition.

Tomorrow is shaping up to be a busy day at Steen Sports Park! Between baseball, soccer, and other activities happening throughout the park, parking will be limited.

Please plan ahead, allow extra time, and be patient as everyone arrives and departs throughout the day. Most importantly, remember that our park will be full of children and families enjoying their weekend activities. Please drive slowly, watch for pedestrians, and be mindful of others in the parking areas.

We appreciate everyone helping keep Steen Sports Park safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for our community!

Community showed up in a big way this week at Steen Sports Park 💚

Our Clean Up Day on Friday was an incredible success, and it’s all thanks to the amazing groups who rolled up their sleeves and got to work. A huge thank you to Kingsley Field, Klamath Basin Pickleball Association, and Southern Oregon Premier Baseball for your time, energy, and pride in this space.

Steen Sports Park is more than just fields—it’s a place where our community gathers, grows, and connects. Seeing so many people come together to care for it is what makes this place truly special.

We’re grateful for your partnership and commitment to keeping our sports park beautiful for everyone. This is what community looks like. 🙌

Sunday Funday Baseball will be canceled today to allow families time together to enjoy the Super Bowl.

While we’ll miss seeing our players this weekend, the good news is that we are that much closer to baseball season!

We’re looking forward to getting back in the cages soon, continuing to work on fundamentals, and having fun with our smallest major leaguers.
