Since returning to the area I have looked at and worked on several airboats and all of them had the same problem! One blade set at a different pitch then the other! Not all engines are alike and that should be the same with prop pitch. One engine might like 70 degrees pitch and the next 72 to get peak performance? If your engine is turning over 2,900 RPM you are loosing thrust. A prop turning at 3,200 RPM is dangerous! It is just waiting to explode! Is your throttle set up to go all the way to the full throttle stop? If not again you are wasting POWER!
