This past weekend we decided to travel to Tampa for Grappling Industries. With so much sickness around and a few people out with injuries, we ended up with just 9 guys competing in both Gi and No Gi.

Despite the low number of competitors, they ALL showed up - Elijah Z got fastest submission, Mack bought home double Gold, Ali won a match 35-0, Ant submitted the largest competitor in Absolute and Elijah B sacrificed both his big toe nails (IFYKYK) 😜

To finish off the successful day we won 1st for Overall Team Adults, winning by 470. Incredible Job to those that competed and also to the team members that didn’t compete but have been showing up to practice and helping them prepare.

Also a huge thank you to Coach Glenn, Coach Juanky and Kayleigh for coaching everyone.

Now it’s time to get back to training and prepare for the next one.

What a day! These guys did incredible at today’s PKB event. We won every fight, in fact every round*. It was great seeing their progress and also seeing so many teammates turning out to support. Another reminder of the incredible team we have ❤️

*Juan A’s fight ended in a NC. He was winning the fight, threw a knee to the body and his opponent dipped and took the 2nd knee to the head. Ref’s acknowledge the dip was to blame, opponent didn’t want to continue and so ruled a NC. A big thank you to Rich and the PKB Team for acknowledging it was not Juan A’s fault and ruling the NC.

Great job everyone. Can’t wait for the next one 💪🏽

Our Youth Wrestling program offers classes Monday through Friday, from 5pm to 6pm.

This group of amazing kids are some of the members of our Youth Competition Team, who in addition to training through the week also train 2 hours every Saturday morning at our dedicated Competition Team practice.

In a World, where kids start and quit multiple sports, spend hours playing video games / on their phones and receive participation trophies in an attempt to keep them, we appreciate how dedicated these kids are, the work they put in for small rewards today and how focused they are on the bigger goal.

We can’t thank all our kids and their families for all the sacrifices they make, we see it and we appreciate it 🥰
