🔥 The Mats in Kissimmee are officially heating up!

Huge shoutout to our Port Charlotte Pirate Wrestlers who stepped onto the floor for Day 1 of the FHSAA State Championships today! These guys and gals have put in the blood, sweat, and overtime in the room to earn their spot among the best in Florida.

The Pirate boys stepped into the Regional Championship and battled through one of the toughest brackets of the season. When the dust settled, five of our wrestlers earned their spot at the FHSAA State Championships.

2️⃣nd Place - Hayden Hansford. Regional Runner Up. State qualifier.
4️⃣th Place - Darwin Pham - State qualifier.
4️⃣th Place - Aydin Bayar - State qualifier.
4️⃣th Place - Lochlyn Harris - State qualifier.
4️⃣th Place - Nick Wilson - State qualifier.

Next stop. The FHSAA State Championships.

Come out and support us at Charlotte Highschool. Wrestling starts at 10 AM. Finals tentative for 5 PM.

🏆 10 Pirates. One goal. 🏆

Today, 10 of our Pirate boys stepped onto the mat at Regionals at Charlotte High School. They battled through day one. They earned their spot to wrestle again tomorrow.

Now it gets real.

Tomorrow decides who punches their ticket to State.

Every takedown matters.
Every escape counts.
Every second is earned.

They are not just representing themselves. They are representing Pirate Wrestling. Their teammates. Their coaches. Their families.

Big day. Big stage. Big results 💪

On Saturday, February 21st, our girls stepped onto the mat at Regionals and made it count.

Five out of six wrestlers advanced to the Regional Championships. That alone speaks volumes about the grit in this room.

And two of our girls are headed to STATE.

Ily Carter battled her way to a 4th place finish and punched her ticket as a State Qualifier.

Clariza Pequeno dominated her bracket and claimed 2nd place, earning her spot at the State Championships.
