Official Retirement Post:
For those who do not know, I have retired from the sport of gymnastics. I will be continuing to use my talents and efforts towards my new passion - acrobat and stunt work.
I have come so far in such a short amount of time. Starting the sport of gymnastics at 13 years old was a long shot, but with unlimited motivation and a resilient work ethic, I achieved more than I could have ever imagined. I am moving forward with 1 team National Championship title, 3x team conference championship titles, multiple All-American honors, 2x Individual National Championship titles. I was a multi medalist at all U.S. Championships, I achieved the greatest honor to be on the National Team & I was an Olympic Trials participate. —— That’s what I call living blessed.
To all of my coaches- Ryan Etherton, Ben Fox, Colin Payne, Taqiy Abdullah-Simmons, Steve Legendre, Chris Brooks, Valeriy Goncharov, Josh Yee and Mark Williams- thank you for helping this kid achieve more than he could have ever imagined. Your dedication to helping me become the gymnast & person I wanted to be has been utterly life changing.
I salute and thank you for everything.
To my family, all of you: thank you for the unconditional love and support. My success is your success. I could not have done anything without you all.
To Sooner Nation: thank you for all of the years of outpouring energy, love and support. It’s been an honor and privilege to represent the Crimson & Cream. My heart is and will forever be bleeding OU DNA.
To my teammates: Y’all already know the love.
Most importantly: All things were and are possible through God. He paved the way and gave me the strength to walk it.
Yours truly & forevermore,
