What an amazing experience for our Dynasty family! We traveled to Pigeon Forge,Tn to compete in the Cal Ripken Experience. We started the trip off in Atlanta catching a Braves vs Phillies game, topped off with a 4th of July fireworks display at Truist Park.
Day (1) The team participated in the opening ceremonies and skills competitions to kick off the tournament. That night our entire crew (64 deep) met at the Rocky Top Mountain Coaster for our first team activity.
Day (2) We started pool play 2-0 dominating the competition 14-1 over team from (OH) & 14-2 over a team from (VA). We all met at the river for some tubing and old fashioned fun after our games.
Day (3) opened the day with a 7-2 win over a tough team from (PA) win taking us to 3-0 in pool play. After our games we all met for our team party at Wear Farm City Park for food, deserts, drinks, games, and entertainment. The celebration wasn’t over yet our fun had just begun. Our next activity was an absolute blast can’t thank Matt and his team enough at Outdoor Gravity Park for taking care of us while we were there. Dynasty Baseball hosted a private event allowing us to enjoy the entire park to ourselves. Our players and families completed over 175 rolls together creating memories that will last a lifetime. What an epic adventure! If that wasn’t enough the crew capped the night off with a wild dinner at Dick's Last Resort.
Day (4) 13-3 win to start the morning against a team from (IL) bringing us to 4-0 during pool play. Got off to a rough start in our 5th game and ended up losing 12-7 to a tough team out of Michigan. Finished pool play 4-1 as the 7th seed out of 32 teams qualifying for the gold bracket. Dynasty stormed the streets of Gatlinburg exploring and experiencing everything the city has to offer.
