Dear Poinciana Little League Families,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unfortunate dissolution of Poinciana Little League after five wonderful years in our community. Due to the county’s decision not to renew our field contract, we are unable to continue providing this program.

We are immensely grateful for the incredible support, dedication, and memories shared by the families who made PLL their home. Your passion and commitment to this league will always be remembered.

As we work to remove our equipment, we will have items available for purchase today 6PM-8PM, including:
• Catcher’s gear (mix and match) for $25 each set (helmet, chest protector, legs)
• Manual pitching machines for $75-$100
• Helmets for $5
• Various other equipment items

We appreciate all the love and support throughout this journey and look forward to seeing you at other ballfields across the county. Thank you for being part of the PLL family.

⚾️ Important Update for Poinciana Little League Families ⚾️

Per Polk County Parks and Recreation, all parks are closed until further notice following Hurricane Milton. We hope everyone is safe and our thoughts are with all families affected.

Unfortunately, our park and facilities did sustain some damage. We will keep you updated on the status of the season as we learn more. Thank you for your understanding and support as we work through this. Stay safe, and we look forward to being back on the field together soon!

Based on the current projections and estimated time of Hurricane Milton’s arrival to Polk County, special needs shelters will open at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, public and pet shelters open at noon on Tuesday. Per Polk County all Athletic Fields are closed until further notice. All practices this week will be canceled. Next week will be determined after the county completes an assessment of the fields after the storm. Everyone please stay safe out there. ❤️⚾️

Polk County Parks and Recreation’s Rec@Home kits for September are all about celebrating the back-to-school season. Our Rec@Home kits are packed with fun for your little explorers to do at home! Each kit will include at home activities, games, crafts and stickers

Activity kit registration is free, but there is a limit of 500 registrations. Registration will open on Monday, September 9 at 8 a.m. Kits will be mailed on Monday, Sept. 16.
