My tiers are back before the season starts! I’m using TierMaker again and I’ll use them several times this season to rank teams as we move along! I did rank each tier from left to right in terms of how good I think they are right now. Here we go!
S- Super Bowl teams, can get there and can win it. Rams. Obviously. Broncos have maybe one of the better rosters now that they have Waddle and healthy running backs. Texans upgraded Oline and running back, defense should be unreal. CJ has to just be average and they can walk into 12 wins. Seahawks, just won it. Still a really good roster, I do question OC.
A- These teams can go deep into the playoffs depending on various factors. These teams also have the top 2-10 quarterbacks or Jalen hurts😂. Rosters are very good but might have some flaws.
B-These teams are basically just a step below tier A. Some of these teams are playoff teams that could win a game, maybe two. For others, making the playoffs is the ceiling.
C- This tier is IMO going to be watching the playoffs from their couches. For one reason or another they just don’t got it to be a real contender for the playoffs or even make it there.
D- Jets and Browns. Need I say more? lol no historically these two are F teams but I think both could surprise people. I think they win maybe 10-12 games between the two of them lol but that’s a big improvement from last year. Browns invested a lot into their Oline and receivers. Shedeur might have a fighting chance once he gets to play. The Jets get an interception this year. Hopefully! But I think they might be a pain in the butt.
F- Congrats! You’re drafting in the top five! I ranked these teams from left to right in terms of suck. I think Mendoza will prove to be good, once he gets to start and Kubiak is in my mind a great offensive play caller. I don’t think it’ll result in many wins, 5 or so. I like Cam Ward a good bit, this team has a tough schedule and they just don’t have a lot going for them. Tate was a huge reach, they don’t have a good Oline, secondary is rough, Dline outside Simmons and JFM is young, unproven or bad. I think the Falcons will suck. They have a bunch of weapons on paper but Pitts is hella inconsistent, Drake is fine but no proven receiver besides him. Bijan is amazing and the Oline is good but their quarterbacks are horrid. Tua won’t hold the ball longer than one second or he’ll check down of throw it away. His injuries are well documented. Speaking of injuries Penix just tore his ACL again😂 but for real he can’t stay healthy. He’s got a cannon but couldn’t hit water if he was scuba diving. Dline sucks. I just don’t see many wins for the dirty birds. Cardinals are sort of the same as Falcons, but they play a way harder schedule. And then there’s the dolphins. Super young team, salary cap graveyard from all the guys they cut. No receiver talent, Oline rebuilding, Dline in shambles, young, old or bad secondary. I’ve liked Malik Willis since he was drafted but this is not a great roster to show his talents. I predict only 2-4 wins for Cardinals and Dolphins.
