JVD Benefit:
With the Team JVD benefit this Friday, we wanted to let everyone know of the events planned as well as to answer any questions you may have. Throughout the day we are expecting in excess of 300 people coming out to show their love and support to JVD and his family. We encourage everyone to participate in this unforgettable event!!
Golf & Tee Times:
This is not a golf tournament so the golf course will be open, but tee times will be REQUIRED. The tee sheet is filling up already and if you plan to play at any time that day, we are asking you to call the golf shop to schedule your time.
There will be no couples golf on this evening, and the golf course will remain open at that time for those wishing to play.
Parking:
With that many supporters coming out throughout the day, parking will be at a premium. In addition to our parking lot, we will open our back grass for parking, and we have received permission to use the SB40 parking lot AFTER NOON, the north gravel lot at the Super 8, the west grass lot behind Diner 54, the Crossing Church parking lot, and at Chad's maintenance shed.
Food & Drink:
Generous donations for food & drink have been received and will be handed out throughout the day. Lunch from Jersey Mike's will be available from 11:00-1:00, happy hour begins at 4:00, and hors d'oeuvres from Kohl's & the Wooden Nickel will be served at 4:30.
Hot dog and hamburger specials will run through the day as well.
The kitchen will close at 3:30 to begin preparing food for the happy hour.
Silent Auction:
Numerous generous individuals and businesses have donated hundreds of amazing prizes to be bid on throughout the day. The bidding opens at 9:00 am and will close at 6:15.
Raffle Tickets:
Raffle tickets will be on sale beginning at 9:00 for some awesome gifts!! Those purchasing tickets will have the option to put their tickets in more than 15 buckets to be drawn at 6:30.
A full list of raffle and silent auction items will be available that day to be handed out to all interested.
50/50:
Tom Kent is selling 50/50 tickets right now and will continue to do so until the drawing is held at 6:45. The pot continues to grow every minute, and we encourage you to not miss out!
Pool & No Kids Night:
The pool will be open that day from 12-8pm. Because there is no couples golf that night, there will be NO KIDS NIGHT OUT and the pool will remain open for members and their guests.
In closing, we can't thank everyone enough for their generous outpouring of support for the family. JVD and his family are wonderful members of the club and incredible people, and we are honored to be a part of this event.
