I couldn’t eat avocados until— I healed my gut 😟🥑
In your healing journey, you’ll find that even some gut healthy foods may not respond well at first.
Everyone’s body is so vastly different which is the beautiful thing about *bioindividuality*. There is no 🙅🏼♀️ one size fits all diet & should be treated as such especially when working with someone to help you heal your gut.
Real talk though: There are some foods that should remain on your Do Not Eat List because they are inflammatory and you don’t want to cause dysfunction + symptoms in your body again.
While I was healing, one of the foods I couldn’t eat was avocados. It was SAD, let me tell you!
But they caused me a lot of bloating and discomfort and eating the avocado was just not worth it. So I stopped eating them for a bit until my gut started to heal and then I slowly started adding it back in.
THAT was just one of the small healing wins for me and oh what a sweet victory it was to have a big ol’ bowl of fresh guacamole and chips! {If you know me, I LOVE a mean guac! 🤤 What’s not to love! 😉🙃}
