Held every other Friday, this small‑group session is open to members & non‑members who want expert coaching without the intimidation factor. Sign up one session at a time – no monthly commitment.

We break down one key lifting skill, explain the why behind it, and guide you through a strength workout that helps you feel the difference in your body.

Part-Time Women's Fitness & Corrective Exercise Specialist (Women 50+)

Studio Bloom is a boutique women’s fitness studio in Kirkland, WA dedicated to helping women 50+build strength and quality of movement and often times transition safely and confidently from rehabilitation to progressive strength training. We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) and group strength coach with strong corrective exercise experience and a passion for guiding women through post rehab movement, resistance loading, and bone health focused training.

This is a part-time role which blends corrective exercise, post rehab progression, strength coaching, and small group instruction, including delivery of the internationally recognized Onero™ Bone Density Program.

When I first started my journey with Studio Bloom, I was at my heaviest weight and feeling insecure about my aging body. Making the time commitment in the beginning was a little daunting, but after just a few sessions, the transition of dedicating time and energy to my health became more of a pleasure than a task simply because the staff at Studio Bloom is so welcoming.

They provide quality instruction in class that is safe and effective. The other participants are so friendly, and nobody has made me do any Burpees! For me, “One year stronger” translates to freedom — freedom to continue the physical activities that I love to do because I am strong and capable. The next new member that I meet, I’m going to tell them “Congratulations! You have taken an excellent step towards being your best self.”

Studio Bloom has been such a gift in my life, and celebrating its one year opening feels so special. When I think about why I keep coming back, it is not just because of the workouts, though those are wonderful too. I keep coming back because of how it makes me feel.

Studio Bloom has helped me feel so much better about myself, and that alone is something I am deeply grateful for. But even more than that, it is the community that keeps drawing me in. Being surrounded by such a fabulous group of women in a space that feels warm, inviting, safe, and genuinely fun has meant more to me than I can really put into words.

Honestly, Studio Bloom has helped my mental health more than anything else in the last 15 years. It has given me a place to show up, breathe, move, connect, and just feel more like myself again. That is no small thing. Every time I walk through the doors, I feel welcomed. Every time I leave, I feel lighter, stronger, and happier.

What Studio Bloom has created is so much more than a fitness studio. It is a beautiful community and a space that makes women feel supported, uplifted, and good in their own skin. Join and for a 90-minute midday immersion designed to help you step out of the weekend whirlwind and align with the natural rhythm of the season. Under the light of the second full moon of the month, we gather for a restorative ritual of release and renewal.

The Experience Includes:
➡️ Gentle Movement: Slow-flow yoga and moon salutations to release tension.

Christine has been one of our most dedicated members. She brings her full self to each workout and an excitement for the progress she is making that inspires others.

Despite being a lifelong runner, I lost that athletic part of myself when I had children at 40. When one of my children got sick, I poured everything into caring for her and supporting research for kids who would come after us. Over time, I completely prioritized the health and wellbeing of others above my own—something I know a lot of women can relate to.

When I started the Intro to Strength class six months ago, I truly felt like I was starting from square one. Linda and Studio Bloom helped me build consistency, and before long I graduated to the Strength Foundations class. Now, those three mornings a week mean everything to me. I can feel myself getting stronger and, just as importantly, taking care of myself again. That momentum is even motivating me to improve my nutrition.

I’m so grateful for the guidance from Linda and Megan in learning proper technique so I can get stronger safely and avoid injury. I’m also incredibly grateful for the Studio Bloom community—supportive women with similar goals and such positive attitudes.

To anyone considering joining, I’d say this: you’re going to wish you started yesterday.

Christa has been a pure joy to work with since she entered our studio. Her consistency, positive attitude and radiant joy she brings to each class is inspiring.

Where were you when you started?

I was walking each day but no strength training. I received results from a DEXA bone scan which showed the beginnings of osteopeni. I’ve wanted to start strength training many times on my own but was not successful.

What felt hard at the beginning?

Learning the basics to lifting weights. I have always had strong cardio, but I did not realize how weak I was in my upper body and core. My balance was also off which made lifts focusing on balance tough for me.

What changed for you?

I now have more confidence as a result of coming to class and lifting weights regularly. I’ve developed increased muscle strength and feel so much stronger everywhere, along with improved balance, agility and mobility.

What does “one year stronger mean to you?”

Becoming a better version of myself mentally and physically. Studio Bloom has done this for me. I have never felt stronger mentally and physically. I look forward to coming and working out with my “workout buddies” who have encouraged me from the beginning.

What would you tell a new member?

Don’t get discouraged and stick with it. The first few classes were challenging but there is so much encouragement from others who will be at the same level. We are all in it together, encouraging each other. You will get stronger each time you show up and probably surprise yourself!
