🏋️‍♀️ Some Unsung Health and Fitness Heroes 🏋️‍♂️

We often celebrate dramatic weight loss transformations, and rightly so! But today, let's talk about a different kind of fitness hero: those who maintain a healthy lifestyle for decades.

Pictured here is my belt. I have to get a new belt every 10 years because I've been using the same 32-inch hole for 40 years. No yo-yo dieting, no dramatic before-and-after pics - just consistent, everyday commitment to health and fitness.

While we should absolutely encourage those on weight loss journeys, let's also appreciate the maintainers:

✅Those who've kept the same waist size for years.
✅Who make healthy choices daily for the sake of health.
✅Who prove that sustainable fitness is possible.

When consistent health and fitness becomes your identity, it's not about seeking praise (and I'm certainly not seeking any here, so please don't), but recognizing that long-term consistency is as commendable as dramatic transformations.

In fact, if you do run into one of these rare individuals, stop and get some advice from them because they will have a treasure trove of information, motivation, tips, and tricks to share!

Let's broaden our definition of fitness success. Whether you're on a weight loss journey or maintaining long-term health, you're doing great work. Keep it up!

Pickleball wipeout yesterday gave me my first full bone break of my life (I have cracked some, but never a clean break like this). Xcited to see how fast I can heal a clavicle.
