Today is about so much more than tournaments, sunshine, and those long days at the field.

Because of the sacrifices of so many brave men and women…we get to sit in those bleachers… cheer loudly… travel from field to field… and make so many amazing memories watching our kiddos chase their dreams.

The freedom to spend our weekends at the ballpark with the people we love is something so many heroes helped protect.

Today we remember. Today we honor. Today we are forever grateful. ❤️🤍💙

Thank you to all who served and especially to those who gave everything for our freedom!

⚾️ LET’S RALLY FOR NIXON ⚾️

Baseball mamas… I think we can do something really special here. 💛

Meet Nixon from Texas. He just turned 13 and was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Nixon has started chemo treatments, and like so many of our ballplayers, baseball is a huge part of who he is.

Because he receives treatment through a port in his chest, he has to wear button-up shirts or gowns during chemo. His mom shared that baseball jerseys are basically his “second skin,” and he would love to wear jerseys during treatments to stay connected to the game he loves so much. So here’s what I would LOVE to see this community do…

⚾️ Let’s try to get Nixon a baseball jersey and/or hat from ALL 50 STATES. He is an adult small in fitted hats and wears a youth L/XL in jerseys.
Travel ball teams
Little League teams
Rec teams
High school teams
College teams
Custom jerseys
Extra hats sitting in your closet
Anything baseball.

If you want to send something, include:💛 Your player’s name💛 Team name💛 City & State💛 A short encouraging note
His mom said he loves hearing the stories behind the jerseys and telling his chemo friends about them. 🥹

If your player wants to connect with Nixon through gaming, messages, or encouragement, feel free to include that too.

Let’s show this young man that even though he can’t be on the field right now… the baseball community is still standing right beside him. ⚾️

Drop your STATE below if you want to help so we can see how many states we can cover for Nixon and we can send you his mailing address. If we have more than one from each state, that’s awesome too and pretty please share this post!!! 💕⚾️💕

We also have an Amazon wishlist for Nixon to help get him through Chemo if anyone would like to contribute this way as well. Here is that link https://amzn.to/4fAekws.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the baseball and softball moms out there. ❤️

Honestly, there’s just something special about sports moms. We live a life most people probably wouldn’t understand… the endless driving, the laundry that never ends, the weekends spent at the ballfield, the fast food dinners between games, the early mornings, the late nights, the worrying, the cheering, the praying, and somehow trying to hold everything together in between.

We spend years sitting in uncomfortable chairs and on bleachers in every kind of weather imaginable, watching our kids chase something they love. And even when we’re exhausted, broke, stressed, sunburned, frozen, overwhelmed, or running on no sleep… we’d still do it all over again for them.

What makes me emotional is knowing one day it all changes. The practices end. The tournaments slow down. The car rides get quieter. The cleats won’t be by the door forever.

And someday, we’d give anything just to get one more weekend at the field with our kids little again.

So today, I just hope every mom here realizes how important she is. Not because of wins or stats or scholarships… but because of the love, support, sacrifice, and safe place you’ve been for your athlete through all of it.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of you. Truly. ❤️⚾

Cheer for the kid who isn't yours.

It's easy to cheer when your child gets a hit. But what about the teammate who strikes out? The kid from the other team who makes a great play? The struggling player who finally gets a win?

Team mentality isn't just about winning together. It's about lifting each other up, even when it doesn't directly benefit your kid.

Here's what happens when you cheer for more than just your own:

Your kid learns that success isn't zero-sum. Someone else's win doesn't diminish theirs.

Your kid learns empathy and sees themselves in struggling teammates.

Your kid learns that being a good teammate means celebrating others.

Your kid learns that community matters more than individual glory.

The parents who cheer loudest for every kid on the field—not just theirs—raise kids who become the leaders, the supportive teammates, the ones who lift others up.

That's the kind of athlete every coach wants. That's the kind of human every community needs.

Cheer for all of them.

Confidence isn't built in a perfect game. It's built in those moments after a bad one.

Your kid struck out. Made an error. Got pulled from the game. Missed the winning shot.

This is where confidence either grows or shrinks.

If you respond with disappointment, criticism, or silence—your kid learns that their worth depends on performance. They'll chase perfection and they will be crippled with the fear of failure.

If you respond with belief, encouragement, and perspective—your kid learns that setbacks are part of the journey. If they get knocked down...they'll get back up.

Confidence comes from knowing someone believes in them when things go wrong, not only when things go right.

The next time your athlete has a rough game, watch what you say in those first few minutes. That's where you build a confident kid—or a scared one.

Be the voice they hear when they doubt themselves.

One of our Baseball Moms members said it best: "The Heart of the Home."

That quote became the inspiration for something special. We partnered with Baseballism to create an exclusive Mother's Day collection—because being a baseball mom is about so much more than the game.

The Heart of the Home collection features apparel and accessories that celebrate what it really means to be the backbone of your family's baseball journey. From the cap you wear to the games to the sweatshirt you throw on for early morning tournaments, this collection is made for you.

Use code MOMS15 to save 15% all year long at Baseballism.

Shop the collection using the QR code in the graphic or head to Baseballism to see the full line. This is our way of saying thank you to the moms who make it all happen.

The heart of the home deserves to be celebrated.

Your kids are watching you. So are the umpires and coaches.

Every word you yell from the stands. Every eye roll. Every frustrated gesture. Your athlete sees it all.

Here's what they learn from how you conduct yourself during games:

If you argue with umpires—they learn it's okay to disrespect authority when you disagree.

If you yell at your kid for mistakes—they learn shame instead of resilience.

If you complain about other players—they learn to blame instead of focus on themselves.

If you stay calm, supportive, and respectful—they learn that character matters more than winning.

The coaches are coaching the game. The umpires are calling the game. Your job is to model what a good human looks like under pressure.

Your athlete will remember how you acted in the stands long after they forget the score.

Be someone they're proud to call their parent.
