A rainy summer Sunday? Perfect! ☔🐐

One of the things I love most about our Barnyard setup is that it's all inside. You still get the feel of being outdoors with the animals, but everything is in one contained space, making it comfortable for everyone no matter what the weather decides to do.

While you're here, be sure to grab a feed snack cup for the animals, check out our specialty drinks and treats, browse custom one-of-a-kind apparel, and get a sneak peek at what will soon be our birthday party room! 🎉

You also want to see if I got any new animals by then....😁😁🤪

So don't let the forecast stop you—we'll be dry, the animals will be happy, and we're looking forward to a great Barnyard Meet & Greet this Sunday!

Just feeling incredibly grateful tonight. ❤️

The Boys Camp with Rob filled in less than 24 hours.
Summer camps are filled (1 spot in 1 camp left)
The Barnyard is growing - Meet n Greet Sunday
And somehow all the pieces seem to be coming together at exactly the right time.

One of the biggest lessons for me lately has been letting go of what I thought support was supposed to look like.

When I put out the help wanted post, I honestly expected the people already around the barn to step into those roles. Instead, the post was shared over and over, reached people I didn't know, and introduced me to some wonderful people I'm genuinely excited to meet.

It's funny how we think we know where help will come from.

Sometimes it comes from places we never expected.

So, thank you to everyone who shared a post, tagged a friend, signed up for a camp, encouraged us, reached out to help, or simply cheered us on. You may not realize how much those little things matter, but they do.

Also, a quick note because my computer and brain power have been running on coffee and sunsets for the last 2½ weeks 😂 If you've reached out about lessons, camps, schedules, or registration and haven't received a response or confirmation email, please send me a text. I promise it wasn't intentional. There are a lot of moving pieces right now, and I only have two hands.

Thank you all for your patience, your support, and for being part of what we're building here. I truly couldn't do it alone. ❤️

Boys Only Camp – June 19th

In a world that asks boys to sit still, this camp gives them permission to explore, build confidence, get dirty, ask questions, and connect with nature.

This special day is led by my husband, Rob. As a single father, he raised his son with strong values, hard work, respect for others, and an appreciation for the outdoors.
He has a way of teaching that doesn't feel like teaching at all—it happens through experiences, conversations, and adventures.

The day will include fishing, creek exploration, discovering wildlife and interesting things in nature, learning about caring for the land, spending time with our animals, and of course some horse time through riding or grooming a few of our beloved misfits.

Not every lesson happens in a classroom. Some happen standing in a creek. Some happen while waiting for a fish to bite. Some happen while caring for an animal. And often, those are the lessons that stay with us the longest.

If you have a boy who loves adventure, animals, the outdoors, or just needs a day to unplug and be a kid, we'd love to have him join us.
🎣 🌿 🐴

Friday, June 19th 9 AM – 2 PM $125 per student
2 spots available- please message for more info

Strong boys aren't built in a day. But a day like this can leave a lasting impression.

Everyone wants the freedom.
The freedom to ride outside.
The freedom to compete.
The freedom to take a horse somewhere new and trust the partnership.
The freedom to step into leadership.

What people don't always see is the preparation that creates that freedom.

The hours spent learning the basics.
The mistakes.
The responsibility.
The chores.
The consistency.
The moments when nobody is watching.

Freedom isn't the absence of structure. It's what happens because of it.

Am I talking about horses or life? Both

You see, I teach differently, I teach to life skills while also teaching riding. I teach the feelings you need to have, the ones to release, and how to achieve goals. In a suttle controlled way.

Watching these girls today made my heart full, this is 2 sessions of waiting for this freedom. Confidence isn't built in a day. It's built one small step at a time until one day you look around and realize you're doing the thing that once seemed impossible.

Dream big❤️

☀️ June is here! ☀️

Here is the schedule for June! Between camps, lessons, homeschool groups, Summer Horsemanship, the Barnyard Meet & Greet, birthday parties, and all the fun in between, it's shaping up to be a busy month.

I feel like I'm forgetting something... 🙃😂

There is also an option to add a daytime Littles Lesson on Fridays if there is enough interest.

Other than that... Happy Summer! 🌻🐴🍓

Thank you to all of our Riding on Grace families for making this place what it is. We have a lot of horses to ride, animals to love on, and memories to make this month. ❤️

See you at the barn! ☀️🐮🐐🐴💜

June 14th!!

We can’t wait for this event! We have created signature drinks and treats in honor of Dunkin the highland cow and Larry the goat. Our signature drinks will be a milk dud latte, and the other is marshmallow carrot cake dirty soda. Our treats will be Cpt. crunch mega krispy treats and cereal and milk mini cakes. Along with those signature items we will have all our regular drinks and more treats as well. Also, the first 50 people will receive a mini resin highland cow or a goat charm to choose from!

I love watching what happens when families decide to jump in with both feet. ❤️🐴

Youth rodeo isn't just about the run in the arena. It's the hauling, the planning, the learning, the long days, the early mornings, and the horsemanship that happens in between.

This group of girls and their families have been stepping up their game, figuring things out, loading horses, and making the commitment to get down the road to new opportunities. Borrowing trucks or trailers, combining the 2 to get down the road. These summer rodeos there is guidance but its not the same as winter where we do it all together.

That's where confidence is tested. That's where experience comes from. That's where good horsemanship is built.

And I get the off moment to also be a Mom along side watching them grow. I never stop being a coach though 😘😘

📣 WE ARE HIRING! 📣

Well... it turns out one person cannot teach all the lessons, feed all the animals, clean all the stalls, run all the camps, host all the birthday parties, build all the dreams, and still remember to eat lunch. 😂 Actually I had amazing luck with this post last year and have a few solid helpers, I just need more!

As Riding on Grace and The Barnyard continue to grow, I'm looking for a reliable Barn Assistant to join our team.

This position includes:
🐴 Horse care and turnout
🐴 Stall cleaning
🐴 Assisting with lessons
🐴 General barn chores and animal care

What I'm looking for:
✔ Reliable transportation
✔ Horse experience (or willingness to learn)
✔ Positive attitude
✔ Someone who can take direction
✔ Someone who loves animals and isn't afraid of hard work

Thiis place is growing. We have camps, lessons, birthday parties, barnyard events, and some exciting things coming this summer. To keep creating the experiences everyone loves, I need a few more helping hands.

If you've ever wanted to spend your days around horses, kids, and farm animals while learning what it takes to run a busy barn, I'd love to talk with you.
