Summer is coming up fast! Summer Strength and Conditioning kicks off June 1, 2026. 3 sessions per day, Monday thru Thursday. Weights is open to all incoming 6-12 grade students!

Kinsley HS Girls Basketball has an 80% standard for all players. Those players that attend at least 80% of days (just need to attend one session to get credit for that day) will be exempt from the team conditioning test once practice begins.

Congratulations to Ava Kirkwood on being selected to the All-CPL 2nd Team in basketball this winter! Ava was the only player in the CPL to average a double-double, ending 3rd in the league in scoring at 14.2 points per game and leading the league in rebounding at 12.8 boards per game.

In January, Ava was also selected to the All Tournament Team at the 54 Classic in Cunningham.

Kinsley HS Girls Basketball - Season Recap
Final record: 10-14

First of all, I cannot express how much I enjoyed this season with this group of girls! As I told them after we finished our final game, I can’t remember a winter where I looked forward to practice and games everyday the way I did this season. These girls exceeded their own expectations, competed with and defeated some very good teams, and accomplished some great things!

We sat down as a team at the beginning of the season to create some team and individual goals for the season, and some of those goals were accomplished before we left for Christmas Break! My favorite characteristic of this team was their selflessness. There was never a moment of jealousy or frustration from individual play, as long as the team was successful. We were just as excited when a teammate made a play as when we made a play ourselves, and that’s such an incredible trait for a group to have.

To our 2 seniors: Thank You so much for what you’ve given the Kinsley Girls Basketball program over the last 4 years! You have left this team better than how you found it, and we owe you such a debt for that. You’ve been a blessing to coach and tremendous teammates. Thank you!

Huge thanks to Coach Hattrup for being flexible with her schedule, being the brains of the operation, and for making time for the team. Your leadership is invaluable! You’re never allowed to leave this team.

As always, thank you to the parents, community, staff and all Coyotes fans for all the support this winter! We love to play in front of our crowd.

Kinsley HS Girls took 3rd place in the 54 Classic Tournament with a 36-28 win over Stafford today! Proud of you, girls!

Due to the forecasted weather this weekend, the 2nd an 3rd rounds of the 54 Classic Tournament will take place on Wednesday and Thursday this week!

The Kinsley girls defeated Skyline by a score of 52-23 tonight! They will play tomorrow, Jan 21, at 6:30pm vs Norwich at Cunningham HS!

Games begin at 6pm with varsity girls, followed by varsity boys. There are NO JV games. Go Coyotes!
