Why join LPGA USGA Girls Golf? Because it's Fun! LPGA-USGA Girls Golf of Houston is a 501 c3 nonprofit that started in 2000 to provide girls a network for girls ages 617 to learn to play golf, make friends and sample competition in a positive and learning environment. LPGA USGA Girls Golf (Girls Golf) provides over 30,000 girls, ages 7 – 17, with the opportunity to learn to play golf, build lasting friendships, and experience competition in a fun, supportive, and girl friendly atmosphere, while teaching them values that are inherent to the game. Girls not only learn to play the game of golf, but they also discover life skills that inspire them to feel confident, build positive self-esteem and live active and healthy lifestyles through the “Five E’s of Girls Golf.” Girls Golf teaches more than just the basics of the game…we inspire girls for the game of life! At Girls Golf we believe that girls can do and be anything they set their minds to, and we aspire to teach them more than just the game of golf, but the game of life too. Golf, along with FUN is our hook, and once we've got the girls' attention, we help to build life skills, critical thinking and healthy habits that will last a girl's lifetime. The “Five E’s” support our mission and encompass the opportunities for learning that we hope to inspire in girls. EMPOWER * ENRICH * ENGAGE * EXERCISE * ENERGIZE ---------------------------------------------------------- Steps to join our 2017 Girls Golf of Houston Membership: Step 1: National Membership link at: https://www.girlsgolf.org/join?siteCode=HOUSTON&siteName=LPGA-USGA%20Girls%20Golf%20of%20Houston%2C%20TX Step 2: Pay $35 Local Chapter Fee that includes up to ten or more GGH events in 2017. It also includes the LPGA USGA National Membership packet that will be sent to your site directors quarterly and will be disbursed to members at events. Invoices will be emailed through GGH paypal account [email protected] where you can make payment. Or check made payable to “Girls Golf Club of Houston” or cash to Site Directors at the Kingwood Golf Advantage School Events. Step 3: Sign Up for Individual Events hosted By Site Directors Aurora & Lori at the Kingwood Golf Advantage School or the Program Directors of the First Tee of Greater Houston. Individual event registration located at kingwoodgas.com under GGH2017 or at http://www.kingwoodgas.com/programs/1031/choose . Once your 2017 GGH membership fee of $35 has been paid use the CLUB MEMBERSHIP option in the dropdown payment menu. Enter: club number as GGH2017Member which will bypass $1.00 payment for each event. Step 4: Receive updates via email from Aurora & Lori at Kingwood regarding events 48 hours prior. Check out our Girls Golf of Houston Facebook. Take a lot of pictures and share with us by tagging your daughter and friends in events or emailing us pictures from the course/clinic/event.
