The Kingsville 8U All Stars wrapped up their 2024 season this past weekend in CC at Oso Fields as PONY Section Tournament Finalists. They had a tough first game loss to Padre 9-4 but just like they've done the previous 2 tournaments, they battled their way back. With victories against Bishop 17-0, Oso 5-1, and Gregory Portland 10-3 the boys made it back to the championship for a rematch against a strong Padre team. The final game was a back and forth defensive battle all game long that came down to the bottom of the 6th with the game tied 2-2 and ended with a walk off win for Padre 3-2, giving our boys a 2nd place finish.

The boys held their head up high and were humble in victory and gracious in defeat. We couldn't be more proud of all 15 All Stars on this team and the heart that they showed battling in all 3 tournaments. Not only are they talented players but they are great young men as well. Way to represent Kingsville boys! Keep on working hard...the future is bright! 💙💪⚾💛
