Learn to skate with the Horrors 🪩
Join us with Ossining Recreation and Parks for a fun, free and fabulous skate night on 9/18!

Skate Night returns to the newly resurfaced roller rink at Vet's Park with a free evening featuring an all-levels roller skating bootcamp from 6:00 to 8:00 PM led by the Hudson Valley Horrors Roller Derby team, followed by Open Skate from 8:00 to 10:00 PM. Skaters can utilize free loaner skates and protective gear on a first-come, first-served basis, enjoy options from onsite food and ice cream trucks, and must complete the mandatory participant waiver alongside program registration to attend. 🩸 INITIATION INCLUDES:
🛼 Basic skating & balance
🛑 Stopping & safe falling
🔥 Derby stance & movement
💥 Intro to contact & gameplay
💪 Confidence, strength & track-ready skills

No prior derby experience required.
