The Shoshone County Horsemen’s Association is a member owned facility managed by a board of directors. The Association was established in 1974 and incorporated in 1979. The board is made up from a member from each horse club and an individual that doesn’t belong to a formal club. This gives everyone equal representation and makes sure that the needs of each group are considered with the best way to achieve the future goals of the facility are met.

A huge shoutout to the many members that worked hard, as well as the overwhelming community support putting the facility back together after the devastating damage from flooding.

There have been many improvements since the generous land donation from Roy & Lelia Nickerson. Their generosity is giving our youth and families a fun and safe facility to promote our equestrian heritage. Here is to looking forward to the future and continued collaboration among horseman of all equine disciplines.
