Kokusai Nippon Budo Kai Our focus is the preservation of the Masaoka Kazumi tradition of Seito Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu Iai Heiho through it's direct transmission over 21 generations.

rves the teachings of Shindo Muso Ryu Jojutsu and the associated sogo bujutsu, Onno Ha Itto Ryu Kenjutsu and other modern forms of Japanese and Okinawan martial arts. The organization was established in 2007 by Hanshi Masayuki Shimabukuro at the request of the Dai Nippon Butoku Kai and Hanshi Miura Takeyuki Hidefusa. In June, 2014 the Dai Nippon Butoku Kai confirmed the legacy and historical significance of the MJER Masaoka line of Iaijutsu/Iaido through the current leadership of the KNBK as the legitimate heirs of this tradition. Kokusai Nippon Budo Kai Honbu Dojo

We wish to acknowledge the recent documented title and achievements recognition of Carl E. Long Hanshi by Dai Nippon Butoku Kai Honbu Board of Directors.

範士 八段 無双直伝英信流 Iaido / 範士 八段 日本古武道 Nihon Kobudo

D.N.B.K. has officially issued Long Hanshi the SoShihan総師範 (Headmaster Title) and Shogo representing all of the kobudo (The Japanese Ancient Martial Ways) taught through the KNBK under his tutelage.

Long 総師 will continue to lead the Miura-Shimabukuro-Long line of budo as recognized and recorded by Dai Nippon Butoku Kai Honbu and Sosai Higashi Fushimi Jiko.

We wish to extend our sincere gratitude to our entire budo community for the continued support and friendship they have expressed in these past 13 years.

We are thankful that our legacy will continue under the legitimate leadership of our teacher, directed by the mission and priorities of our predecessors and mentors.
