I just wanted to say that I promise once I know tryout dates they will be posted on this page and of course the middle school page will post it as well!
It does look like the co-op with Midway Middle will stay in place so that means only students who
will/are attending Midway Middle and Cherokee Middle can tryout

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
As of now there are no tryout dates scheduled, BUT you can start doing things in preparation for the tryouts.
*A physical dated after April 15,2026 MUST be turned in prior to tryouts, no exceptions are made for that. If you don’t have it, you can’t try out.
*Final Forms will need to be filled out and signed PRIOR to tryouts
*For those of you that will be new to trying out and also as a reminder to those who have tried out before. Middle school volleyball is nothing like rec. The level of play is different. You are required to practice over the summer, as games start right when school starts back. There are multiple games a week, some district games are in Sevier County (our district is very wide spread). You MUST provide your own transportation to and from practices and games. All things to keep in mind.

SOOO proud of this team….20-2 as a 2nd year program, moved from class A to AA and walked away 17-1 in the regular season...

SOOO proud of this team….20-2 as a 2nd year program, moved from class A to AA and walked away 17-1 in the regular season (only forced to a 3rd set one time) South Division champs, overall district #1 seed and Region 2, District 3, District Tournament Champions (won in 2 sets all 3 games), advancing as the #1 seed from our district to Sectionals. I wish it would have ended with a trip to States, but NOTHING to be ashamed of! This team will forever hold a special place in my heart 💙🧡

Thank you for all the 7th and 8th grade girls that came out for day 1 of try outs. Reminders:
1) girls MUST bring their physical or they CANNOT try out.
2) girls cannot enter the gym until 15 minutes before tryouts begin!! That means for Thursday 6th graders, you will not be allowed into gym until 4:15. Tryouts are 4:30-6:30 and Friday 6th and 7th grade girls will not be allowed into gym until 3:45. Tryouts are 4-5:30

There are no new updates on exact dates for the tryouts, but please know rising 6th graders can not try out for the middle school until the school year
officially ends. The try outs will be no earlier than that last week of school.
As a reminder have physicals done before try outs or your girls will be not be able to participate. This is a huge commitment, you are responsible to have your child at all practices which will not be immediately after school bc it is a co op. You are also responsible for getting your child to and from all games. There is no bus. We have multiple games over an hour away where you will have to have your child
there and ready to go by 4:30. We practice all through out the summer, at varying times. Parents will have to volunteer to help at games. All things to consider before you let your child try out.
