Kingsbury Community Spotlight: Luca Vitello Brings Tennis 🎾 to Life Through Art 🎨 From the tennis court to the page, Kingsbury member Luca Vitello is making his mark as an illustrator ✏️.

Kingsbury Club is proud to celebrate the creative talents of Luca Vitello, age 13, who has taken his love of tennis beyond the court and into the world of children’s literature.

Luca is the illustrator of Nature’s Tennis Lesson: A Duck’s Tale, a new children’s tennis workbook story written by Marco Lerra, a certified tennis coach. The story follows a young boy who discovers the fundamentals of tennis through meditation and the natural world. In this first installment, a duck becomes an unlikely tennis teacher, introducing readers to at least five different tennis skills and techniques along the way.

What makes Luca’s contribution especially impressive is the independence and creativity he brought to the project. Given only a rough storyboard, Luca developed the illustrations and visual design with very little supervision, bringing his own ideas and artistic vision to the story.

For the Kingsbury community, Luca’s journey is particularly special. He has developed his love of tennis through his time at Kingsbury Club and with the guidance of our tennis professionals. His story is a wonderful example of how the skills developed through tennis — creativity, focus, patience and perseverance — can extend well beyond the court.

We are excited to recognize Luca as he takes this first step into the world of illustration and look forward to seeing where his creativity takes him next.

Summer is in full swing at Kingsbury Camp, and the smiles say it all!

From fitness challenges and pool time to games, crafts, and nonstop laughter, our campers have been making memories, building confidence, and forming friendships that will last long after summer ends. One of the best parts of camp has been watching the special bonds grow between our campers and our incredible counselors, creating a fun, welcoming community where everyone feels they belong.

The response has been amazing, and we're nearly full for the summer! We have just a few openings remaining over the next two weeks, so now is the time to join the fun before every spot is gone.
