A "heads up" that if you registered prior to mid March, you likely registered through Chronotrack (CT). CT quit supporting their registration platform at the end of March so we switched our registration over to RunSignUp (RSU) at that time. So, if you registered earlier in the year, you probably don't show up in the RSU roster, but you will show up in CT. We've had several questions about that so we wanted to clarify that issue. If you have questions, feel free to send an email to [email protected].

🕊️ Honoring a Legend: Dan Ball

We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of a beloved member of the Cattails at MeadowView family, Daniel "Dan" Ball.

For over 28 years, Dan was a fixture at our course, serving as a Ranger and Starter. Whether he was keeping things moving on the first tee or sharing a story with golfers, Dan’s devotion to the game and this community was unmatched.

Beyond the course, Dan was a decorated U.S. Navy Aviator of 24 years and a Tennessee Senior Olympics Hall of Famer. He lived a life of service, from the skies of Vietnam to the sidelines of Dobyns-Bennett football games.

📅 Celebration of LifeThe Ball family has kindly extended an invitation to the golfing community to join them in celebrating Dan’s remarkable life.

When: Saturday, May 2nd
Time: 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Where: Marriott Conference and Convention Center
Details: Light refreshments will be provided.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in his memory to the Bristol Humane Society Spay & Neuter Clinic.

Dan, thank you for the decades of friendship and for being the heart of our starting line. You will be greatly missed. 🏌️‍♂️⚓️
