Ok, It has been almost 3 years since Bloomingdale Babe Ruth Baseball disbanded. You would think after all this time, people would let it go, but for some reason, they cannot. I have kept my mouth shut as to why I and the last group of 5 good, honest board members voted to abolish the charter, and I have tried to keep my mouth shut to spare feelings and stop rumors and to let it all go peacefully into the night. Well, after tonight, I will let it out. It failed because certain people previously associated within the league were NOT honest. It failed because certain, prior, people, were NOT responsible with other people's money. It failed because certain people were NOT doing what they were TRUSTED to do. It FAILED because there was internal bickering and power struggles. Mostly it failed because of the WRONG people and 3 prior years of misappropriation of league funds. This had been ongoing over MANY of the years that the organization had been around. It had happened for the last several years and some of the people had been removed. Some left of their own accord, while others were removed by vote. Some people that needed to leave would not, and we all know how well a machine works with a broken part. Leagues with "Broken People" are the same way.

As most people know, Bloomingdale Babe Ruth no longer exist. We do recommend that you follow up to other leagues in your area. Lynn Garden Optimist Baseball and Softball, Bloomingdale Optimist Baseball and Softball, Colonial Heights Athletic Commission, and also Piney Bluff Babe Ruth Baseball, are great places to consider. Sign ups are going on now so find your league and Play Ball!
