Had a great girls clinic yesterday. 20 girls braved the weather and all had a great time. Special thanks to Yellowbook and Creative Color Hair Salon for sponsoring the clinic. Also thanks to PGA Professional Mark Houser, Taylor White and Jodi Shipley for helping with the clinic. The future is really bright for all of these young ladies!

Boys golf clinic will be on Saturday March 31st from 4-6pm at Warriors Path. The cost will be 20$ and include a goody bag, range balls and two hours of instruction. The clinic is open to the first 30 boys from the ages of 8 and 15. Email me, or inbox me asap to sign up!

I will be posting dates for some pre season junior clinics to be conducted at Warriors Path. Weather permitting, the clinics will be in March. Also, I will be doing a series of clinics each month for players of all skill levels.

Congratulations to Brian Stivers from Volunteer High School! Brian just recieved a scholarship to Virginia Intermont College. Brian set goals, developed a plan, sacrificed personal time, kept his faith strong and had a great passion! Now, his education is getting paid for and he gets to enjoy one of the greatest games while doing it. Brian, I am very proud of you!

Congradulations to academy students Blake Blizard and Victoria Campbell. Both have signed substantial college scholarships. Blake will be attending UVA Wise and Victoria will be at Brevard College in North Carolina. Both Blake and Victoria set goals, worked hard, made great grades and committed to the process of improving. I am very proud of both Blake and Victoria!!!

Guys, Springtime is just around the corner. I am offering some Christmas specials that will prepare you for the upcoming season. Golf is alot like life, you set goals, PLAN an aggressive course of action to achieve these goals and stay the course through adversity. If you do this, even if you fail, your successful because you planned and tried your best.

CORRECTION!!! The ladies golf clinic for Susan G Komen Foundation will be on Wednesday September 28th at Warriors Path Golf Course. MAke plans to attend this FUN time for a GREAT CAUSE! $25 per lady and ALL proceeds go the Susan G Komen Foundation!
