The Ridgecrest/Eastman Fall Open Tennis Tournament is around the corner if you like to enjoy some competitive yet fun tennis outdoors before the winter arrives. Registration deadline is Sept 17, Friday. Tournament runs from Sept 25- Oct 1 at the Ridgefields Club tennis courts and other courts at Kingsport (you don’t play everyday and tournament committee works with your conflicts). Tournament revenue will benefit a local high school tennis team.

Eastman Tennis Club is offering tennis lessons with Ms. Cassie Nabalta, a former player at Milligan. Please call 423-229-3771 to sign up. Registration is open to any junior (10+) and adult (related or unrelated to Eastman). Refer to flyer for more information. Let’s master those shots together 🎾🎾

What a wonderful week of fun and competitive tennis we had at the Eastman Spring Open 2021. We are so proud to support Cassie Nabalta’s All Kidz Development Program with the tournament revenue and greatful to all the participants for supporting Cassie’s program! Come back in the fall🎾🎾

Eastman Open Spring Tournament is kicking of today with a great line up. Ms. Cassies Nabalta will be doing a mixer for the kids with special needs on court 5 and 6.

Hello tennis friends out there!! The Eastman Open Tournament 2021 in the spring is around the corner (May 15-22). We are proud to partner with and support the “All Kidz Development” program for kids with special needs, designed by Ms. Cassie Nabalta- a local tennis player/coach. Eastman Open 2020..what a wonderful week we had filled with some great tennis and (socially distant) fellowship! Thanks to all the players for participating and making it a successful event. A big thanks to the Eastman Recreation, Susan G. Komen Foundation, Mountain Empire Tennis Association (META), and Kingsport Park and Recreation for cosponsoring this event.
Lastly we wouldn’t have done it without the constant planning and organization of the tournament committee (Wendell Smith, Holli Cox, and Soma Mukherjee) and the Eastman Recreation Tennis Club members especially Sunny Bhat and Ma Chaoxiong.
The revenue from this tournament went to support Susan G. Komen ($500) and Dobyns Bennett Tennis Team ($200).
Please come by in the spring to support our spring tournament and the local community tennis, and have some fun at the court alongside 🎾🎾
