🩷What is Dance Team?
- Dance Team is a Pom choreography based class that competes at 1 local competition. We will also perform at local showcases per invitations.
🩷Are other classes required to be on the competition team?
- Yes, this class requires Leaps & Turns alongside Dance Team to build the dance technique needed. Leaps & Turns is a technique class only, which means there is no recital or costume for extra expenses.
🩷Does my dancer need Dance Team Experience to be on the competition team?
- Not at all! Each routine is specifically choreographed to meet the dancers where they are while building their skills as we go.
🩷How does Mini’s Dance Team differ from the other Dance Team classes?
-Mini’s Dance Team includes the Leaps & Turns portion into the class time for a total of 45min vs the 30min x 2 class structure. Our Mini’s Dance Team is a Performance Only Squad meaning they do not compete. Our Mini’s will perform at the same showcases that our Dance Teams perform at to gain performance experience.
🩷How old does a Mini’s Dance Team member need to be?
- Kindergarten-1st grade is the designated age group. PreK aged students are able to join with 1 year of prior dance experience.
🩷Do they spend their entire year learning 1 routine only?
- Absolutely not 😊 our Dance Team groups will learn a 2nd routine after the winter break to be performed at recital as well 😁

💛Mini’s Dance Team: 6:00-6:45
